Jason Davis I called Juke Auto right when they opened to see if they could squeeze me in, my skid plate was dragging and making a terrible noise, and I wanted to get it fixed before it got any worse. I spoke with Sal on the phone, and he was incredibly friendly and told me to come right over, they’d be happy to take a look. And I’m so glad I did! The team at Juke Auto was fast, efficient, and honest. They fixed the issue quickly at a great price and didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs like so many other shops tend to do. As a first-time customer, I was seriously impressed with the customer service and the overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for taking such great care of me today!

Ramon Morales I had looked up an auto shop near me with great reviews. Abees shop showed up, and I decided to give them a try. I went in for 4 maintenance services and had them all done in the same day and it was a fair price! I will be coming back for my car needs.

marcus rodriguez Heard of them through a friend. Recently had a 30k tune-up done, as well as replaced Sway Bar, Tie Rods and Ball Joints. They did great work again. Car runs great. Extremely efficient, and very fair prices. I trust this team.

Steve Takata This has been my go to Mechanic for at least 15 years. This looks like a mess with cars and various states of repair scattered about the yard, but don’t let the appearances of this shop fool you. They have always been honest, fast, and reasonable. There have been plenty of times Where I’ve gone in to ask them about something small, and they have just fixed it and when I asked them how much I owed them they just kind of wave me away and don’t charge me anything. There’s no place else in Austin that I would take my car too, unless there was some sort of specialty repair on a car that they did not work on.

Fredy Castro I took my wife car to Tri’s Auto Repair for a noise I been hearing for some months and I tried chasing this sound but couldn’t figure it out. These guys got on it and were very adamant about finding the problem. Took about a hour but I have no complaints. I was even given some recommendations for maintenance considering the miles on vehicle and price is very reasonable and fair. I will be going back. Give another update. Here’s my 2nd update these guys are the real deal honest and upfront with excellent service and quality work. Got timing belt /water pump service kit done and a/c fixed on a different vehicle. I am beyond grateful for tri and his great team.

Kevin b It’s an ok shop great guys but they washed my engine with coolant, screws missing or not install properly to my eye & some newer Vehicles are great to take to dealer due to all the sensors & my Explorer is being hold by Friction. Since I left his shop it was Louder & Rougher. Even the guy that recommended Tri’s repair shop laughed at how they “FIXED” it. Now the cost to repair it back to normal is never ending but as they go more screws are being installed & work is being done Straight. No need for pics or videos because if you take something apart you put it back right OR Don’t take the job.

Meredith Westbrook I can’t recommend this place enough. They are truly incredible! I hit a curb pretty hard to avoid an accident, and then noticed my car was making different noises. I took my car to Sun Auto on a Thursday, they looked at it Thursday and Friday. They stayed well after closing to show me and my mechanic boyfriend the issues with the car from underneath. They then spent a lot of time finding the cheapest prices for the parts I needed while making sure those parts were high quality. I worked out the payment on the following Sunday, and by midday on Tuesday they had my car finished. They had a certified Lexus mechanic look everything over, and they had multiple people work on my car to get it done as soon as possible. I have to say that the manager, Brian, was absolutely wonderful. He’s extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their communication with me was stellar, and I never felt like they were doing unnecessary work. I’m extremely greatful to the guys at this shop - especially Brian. This is the place to go when you have car trouble!

Jennifer Lopez ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m so grateful I found Sun Auto Service! They recently replaced all four of my tires and gave me an amazing deal—way better than anything I found elsewhere. But what really stood out was their honesty and customer service. I mentioned some concerns I had about my brakes, and instead of jumping to an expensive repair, they took the time to run a full diagnostic. Turns out, the issue wasn’t with the brake system at all. They not only identified the real problem but fixed it without trying to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. It’s so rare to find an auto shop that’s this trustworthy and customer-focused. I genuinely felt like they had my best interest at heart. I’ll absolutely be returning for any future service needs. Highly recommend!

Frances Cromartie I had a wonderful service call experience from Ronnie and his service call mechanic. My vehicle had a bad fuel pump, would not start and had me without an operational vehicle for three days. After checking other local repair shops and not finding one to provide a timely service call at a price I was comfortable with, I contacted Ronnie at 411 Tires & Automotive, he and his mechanic came and repaired my car in a timely and professional manner. I proudly send this review because I live three towns north of Giddings, but he didn’t see that as a problem and provided his services with a “Can Do” attitude and performed it a manner that was “Second to None.” I highly recommend the 411 Tires & Automotive shop based on my very pleasant experience with them.

Angel Aguilar I don’t even know where to begin . March 2024 I had my car towed to this shop . It was damaged in a wreck. . I picked it up a couple months later and the company was paid in full.m 16 k. The paint job was terrible so I returned it. I went back two more times and the work was still not done.. Fast-forward 10 months later after paying my car payment and insurance every month and not being able to use my car. I decided to take it to a different shop and they informed me that the car was not even safe to drive and after looking at the quote, the work that was charged to the insurance company was not even done. Significant unresolved damage with the frame suspension and undercarriage. I was told that it was not safe to drive and that if I got in an accident, my passenger probably would die. Horrifying! I have kids and grandkids. I was extremely taken advantage of, and shouldn’t have trusted somebody that seemed nice.

Allen Chan Travel Houston to Austin had transmission leak and over heat warning, got Ronnie by blissing, was adding fluid at AutoZone and customer said go to Ronnie next door, Ronnie tech work it it right away and in about an hour found Radiator transmission cooler was leaking, he got one drove in from Austin and by 630pm, I was able to get home with my wife, fair price too. I would be spending the night at a hotel if any other shop, Thanks for your warm country hospitality

Zachary Bushman Had a blowout on 35 and had to throw a donut on my car on the side of the road. Took my rim straight to Craig’s and they had me fixed up and back on the road with a used tire in literally about 5-7 minutes. Outstanding service, polite and personable staff, and affordable. HIGHLY recommend this place

Kenneth Shonaike Got recommended to this place and went over to get my brakes fixed. I asked for a quote beforehand and Craig specifically told me he would not do any work to the car until he called and gave me an estimate. I got a call hours later that the job was done with more being done to the car than asked. That led to a hefty bill that I was not prepared to pay. Be aware and make sure you set expectations before you leave your car.

Russell Hilburn My daughters car broke down, and she limped it to the shop after replacing the coil packs in the OReilly parking lot. I assumed the next step was a fuel pump. They correctly diagnosed that it had skipped timing. They repaired quickly and reasonably. Handled everything over the phone with great communication via office staff.

Greg Holland I brought in my truck 4x4 to have an alignment and caster camber bushings . Look over due to death wobble symptoms. Due to problems caused by DWobble. Took them longer than they wanted. I have one recommendation... a more comfortable bench. . They showed me customer service is still alive. Thank you

And they dont even charge a diagnostic fee. Excellent experience, I will use their services again in the future.

Jason Remington My company has used this company for a couple years. This is my first interaction with them, A/C system is blowing hot when at idle, we take it in for repair they keep the van for 4-5 days no communication. We get the van back and surprise the van is doing the exact same thing THE VERY NEXT DAY after spending 3,700.This is a service van so after being out of commission for 5 days not looking to throw it immediately back into their shop for repair. Our power steering and brakes are having issues couple weeks later so we take it to Austin automotive for repair they get it fixed same day amazing communication, so now here we are 3wks after that repair we are taking it to Dave’s to get the A/C fixed that wasn’t working already mind you before the power steering repair. THE REASON THEY GIVE FOR IT NOT WORKING IS BECAUSE THE POWER STEERING FLUID GOT ON A SEALED FUSE BOX. HERE IS THE KICKER ON THE INITIAL VISIT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CHANGE THE OIL AND TURNS OUT THEY DID NOT AND THAT IS ALSO THE REASON FOR IT NOT WORKING AN OIL CHANGE. IF THEY WILL DO A COMPANY THAT SPENDS THOUSANDS WITH THEM THIS WAY, HOW DO YOU THINK THEY WILL DO AN EVERYDAY CONSUMER?

He had great communication from the get-go with upfront cost, and anything he came across during the job. Very honest work and guy. You can tell he loves what he does. Wes Hayslip Came here for a minor repair. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and welcoming. They knocked it out like it was nothing! The price of the repair was more than fair.

Breda Arredondo Honest shop with good pricing. Gary is kind and trustworthy. After service we had to make sure the coolant wasnt still leaking and Gary had me come back twice at no charge to double check everything was working correctly.

Ethan Morris Go somewhere else, they did a service (which took 3 days oddly and I had to call and ask) and left a complete mess over the vehicle, but worst of all they damaged the car! They tried to not acknowledge any wrong doing by not notifying me and when confronted all they could say was accidents happen! So you accidentally left oil on steering wheel and body parts? Nobody there takes pride in their work, are there any decent shops left? Those scratches are deep and fresh and now on my own time I have to take more time away from work to get it repaired. UPDATE: So yes they did pay for the damage to the vehicle, and the owner responded to this quickly so that’s appreciated, can’t say the same for the store manager. He made everything sound like such a burden. The service I had done because it was recommended ($3k oil pump replace) did not fix the issue. Like I mentioned to the shop it could be the sensor or sending wire… I replaced myself and seems to be working well now with gauge reading properly. I wonder if it was even checked or voltage tested.

Ahmad Mack Wouldn’t recommend going here. I went to get better clarification for a check engine light. O’Reilly’s does a free diagnosis that pointed to a catalytic converter. Which turns out to be an O2 sensor. This shop never diagnosed my check engine light. However, they did conduct a $100 inspection and tried to convince me that I needed a new engine for $14k. In reality, I needed a thermostat and the air bled out the lines. I’m no auto technician, but this is an egregious oversight and I couldn’t imagine how many customers have overpaid for services or work that they did not need. Seems like a common theme for this place. Don’t go!

Pradip Shrivastava 5 Stars - Honest, Professional, and Compassionate My 2009 Camry broke down and was towed to Dave’s Ultimate Automotive. Tony and the team were prompt and professional to book my order for performing a full engine check. The next day, Tony explained that the engine was unreliable and advised against costly repairs due to the car’s age. I appreciated the honest guidance. What truly impressed me was when I asked about the bill—Tony refused to charge me anything, even though the inspection normally costs $170. He said he didn’t want to add to my loss since the car was going to scrap. Incredible kindness and integrity. Highly recommend Dave’s Ultimate!

Aaron Ralls Had a super smooth and easy experience at Dave’s. I bought my vehicle two months ago and already got a flat. I changed the flat myself and discovered the previous owner, or their mechanic cross threaded one of the lug nuts, so the lug nut and stud were ruined. I live two blocks from a Midas that I’d never been to on 40th and Guadalupe, so I took it there. They quoted just under $500 to replace one stud, one lug nut, and to patch the hole in the flat tire. That was obviously way too much for such a minor repair, so I got my car back, and looked for another shop near me. Dave’s had great reviews, so I called them up. They quoted me $212 for the same work. Sold! They were busy, but said they could take care of me in the morning. I scheduled an appointment for the next morning, but went ahead and dropped my car off just in case they got a chance to work on it earlier. I got lucky and they knocked out my repair the same day! And for a bit less than they quoted me! I’ll definitely be going back to Dave’s next time I need some work done and I highly recommend you do the same. Maxie Garcia Ive been to Daves for routine maintenance and liked them a lot for that. When my car started having acceleration issues, they were the first place I chose to call because of this. I spoke to someone at first and got their diagnostics price. With the tow I would be spending close to $400 just to get the car looked at. I dont mind doing that, but I need to know how much to put away in addition so Im not just stuck at the shop having to either store the car there or get it towed back home. When I called with a little more information to ask how much a specific repair would cost, I was told I was wasting their time and theyre too busy to drop what theyre doing and give phone estimates. I felt talked down to and brushed off as if I was just being an annoyance. Im just trying my best to make an informed decision before I drop hundreds of dollars. Please be more considerate of potential and returning customers. I went from yall being the first shop I thought of to not wanting to talk to anyone there again to avoid being scolded like a child.

Ryan Weber One of the best mechanic experiences I’ve had. I work on cars myself, but I’m from out of town buying a vehicle and I’m not too experienced with diesels. I stopped by to ask some questions and maybe get some work done. The guys at the counter were super friendly, took the time to listen, and gave me honest, no-BS answers—something that’s rare in this industry. Turns out, the issue I was worried about wasn’t actually a problem at all. They could’ve easily upsold me and charged hundreds, but instead, they just gave me solid advice and sent me on my way. That kind of integrity goes a long way.

Mike Walsh I have been going to Tony for 10 years now. Best mechanic I found in Austin when I moved here. He is honest to the core which is hard to find in an auto mechanic, especially the franchise type locations. Great work, shoots you straight and wont try to sell you something you dont need.

Sean McFalls This review is long overdue! Had a major issue with my VW Tiguan - basically the engine was done. Got a bloated estimate from another local shop and decided to take it to Tex Tune. Brock diagnosed, gave me a much much more reasonable quote, and repaired (rebuilt) the engine as fast as humanly possible - always with swift and detailed communication throughout the entire process. Brocks one of the finest, most honest souls alive, and a damn good bass player! Tex Tune is hands down THE BEST automotive shop in Austin!

Kevin Dean Outstanding Service from a Trustworthy Mechanic Tex Tune automotive provided me with an exceptional experience when repairing my Acura MDX power steering system. Brock swiftly addressed the issue, completing the repair with outstanding workmanship. The fair pricing and the friendly demeanor of Brock Huffman, whom I easily came to trust, made the entire process even more satisfying. Highly recommended! Also he cleaned up my engine block in the process which looked pristine when I popped the hood about a month later.

Matt Davis GoFix was a great help on getting my Fisker Karma back in working condition. Leo and Cameron installed and replaced my body control module from my vehicle to get my vehicle back in running condition.
