Daniel Harrell We had a really great experience. The service was fantastic. The food was flavorful and extremely tasteful. The drinks were so good. We starred with queso and the tuna crudo were seasoned perfectly. Then two of us had the duck, one person had the fajitas, and another had the carnitas. No one was disappointed. My only complaint, they need to update the online menu. A few items were not on the current menu in the restaurant.

Samantha Jogoleff We visited to celebrate our anniversary after hearing so many great things about the food and views and quickly realized why it’s so highly recommended! The smell of the wood fire hits you as soon as you walk up, setting the tone and really getting you excited for the entire experience youre about have. The space is beautiful, and the patio offers incredible views! Plus the patio has coverage and heaters, so no biggie if it rains! The hostess greeted us right away, and Mariah, our server, was attentive and truly thoughtful throughout the night with great recommendations and surprises. The food was outstanding! Honestly, probably some of THE BEST weve enjoyed in Austin! The happy hour machete was MASSIVE, perfectly crispy and cheesy with an addicting side crema that I saved to use in case I wanted to pair with other food items, it was that good. Im typically not a huge mole person so I was hesitant on ordering anything with it, but heard they were known for their 800 day aged mole. I asked if it was possibly to try a small amount to see if that would be something wed enjoy and she brought out a sample to try and WOW! They do a savory style mole and it is JAW DROPPING! Creamy, luscious and definitely worth ordering! This is coming from someone who is not a mole person, well at least the sweet kind of mole. Now I know theres a better one out there! While I couldnt get over how incredible the mole was, we were dying to try their carne asada and the venison chops that they had on the menu, especially since you dont see venison often. The carne asada was well cooked and flavorful and came with a super cheesy chile relleno. but the venison double chops completely stole the show—exceptional tenderness, flavor, and execution. Their margaritas were excellent, especially the fact that you could make them spicy with their house-made pepper mix, where you can really taste the fresh jalapeños. They surprised us with a champagne toast and anniversary sweets (Fresh feeling strawberry ice cream and shortbread buttery confetti type cookies) that made the night feel extra special. We did follow that with a chocolate cake, that didnt feel like it would put you in a sugar coma and had a cherry guajillo puree that gave it a little spiced kick. Absolutely worth the drive and already on our list to return—especially for brunch and one of their mole dishes! They are a must stop in Austin!

Sara Govero Wow. Just wow. Hestia is where wood fired dreams come to life. Everything is cooked over an open flame, and the Michelin Star is fully deserved. A very elevated experience. You can taste the art in every bite. Wr started with 2 bites, the corn and husk and the crab toast. They were so cute. One bite. We then got the crudo and I loved the smokiness of this dish. The halibut was even better. It came with a pour of this green tasty sauce. Bring me 2 mesquite cakes! That wood fire process is making babies back there. Excellent!

Michelle Ferguson Our second time at Fogo de Chao Austin and still had a very good experience with the service, the meats, the sides; and we just discovered that they have great desserts, too! Try the creme brulee, it is luscious! We all had the Indulgent Churrasco and chose the butter-bathed lobster tail. Yum! And we also added truffle butter to dip the meats. Double yum! And the $10 all-you-can cocktails is a win! You can switch and try all their cocktail options. I recommend going there for brunch so you have the rest of the afternoon to digest all that meat.

Yoon Lee Moonshine Grill was the best choice we could’ve made for Thanksgiving. The buffet was incredible—prime rib, turkey, ham, and a great variety of sides like mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, deviled eggs, plus plenty of fresh fruit and desserts. It truly captured the festive Thanksgiving spirit. Valet parking was $12, and there’s also street parking nearby. I’m definitely coming back next year—hoping I can snag a reservation again!

Kayla B I would recommend reservations as it can be a long wait for walk ins! We dined here as walk ins one night and were able to snag a spot at the bar. Everything we had was delicious. We ordered the garlic hummus, braised short rib, brussel sprouts, lamb & beef kefta, and the olive oil frozen yogurt for dessert. Everything was good and I felt it was a fair price for the portion. We both agreed that the garlic hummus was exceptional-would absolutely recommend! We will be back to try more of the menu. In addition the restaurant, though busy, maintains a nice atmosphere.

Taylor Davis Absolutely love this Pappadeaux location on Research Blvd! My meal originally came out a little on the salty side, but the manager, Grant, went above and beyond to make it right. His professionalism and top-notch customer service were truly impressive — he immediately had my dish remade and even offered me a delicious salad to enjoy while I waited. That kind of care and attention is rare these days! I also want to shout out my bartender, Anna, who was incredibly sweet, kind, and attentive the entire time. The combination of great food, amazing service, and such genuine hospitality keeps me coming back. This location truly knows how to take care of their guests — I’ll definitely be returning again and again!

Jessica Needom Beautiful restaurant located inside the Marriott hotel. We had great drinks from the bar. The food is incredible! I had the half chicken with pommes puree and broccolini. So flavorful! My husband had the Braised wagyu and it was delicious! He ate every last bit of that plate! Lol. For desert we had the caramel bread pudding. It was thinner than expected but the flavor was out of this world! We thoroughly enjoyed our romantic evening. The restaurant is beautiful.

Graham Stone We had become disenchanted with Brazilian themed restaurants after bad experiences in Orlando and downtown Austin, but now our faith has been restored after a meal at Casa do Brasil. We had a delicious meal with excellent service and pleasant wine by the glass for my wife’s birthday. The salad bar is incredible. A comprehensive selection of charcuterie, cheese and salad so you can create your personal antipasto. Be careful, it’s easy to overdo it, you must leave space for the selection of meats that will be offered to you by the meat waiters. When you are ready, turn your table disc over so the green side is up and within moments sirloin and filet mignon and sausage and lamb chops and shrimp, pork or chicken will be brought to your table. Try one, try them all. And supplement the meats with mashed potatoes and fried plantain that are left on your table. It’s a meal fit for a king. And if you have any space left there is also dessert. We shared a complimentary flan (with a candle for the birthday) that was also delicious. It’s moderately expensive, our brunch for two with three glasses of wine was $141 before tip, but it’s worth it. The tables and chairs are comfortable, the sound levels are moderate so you can hold a conversation without raising your voice and the rest rooms are clean and well maintained.

Peter Strickland This spot definitely shows a lot of potential, especially when it comes to the food. Everything we tried—the chicken and waffles, French toast, and chicken fried chicken—was genuinely delicious and prepared really well. The flavors were on point, and the dishes couldn’t have been better. However, the overall condition of the restaurant itself takes away from the experience. The space feels worn down, from the faded paint to the tired seat cushions, and it could use some refreshing. With a little attention to the interior, this place could easily shine. For now, the food is worth ordering, but getting it to-go might be the more comfortable choice.

Renny Titi Visiting Perrys on our trip for music concert. We picked the right restaurant. We ordered steaks and sides. Steaks was cooked perfectly as our ordered. Au gratin was so cheesy goodness. We loved it. Great environment, great service. Probably we will not come to Austin again, but for fine dining restaurant it is recommended.
