5 /5 Gabriel Recio: My family and I try to come here at least 2 times a month. We love the breakfast for it never disappoints. My wife and I love sharing the Silver Spur Taco it’s usually Enough for us both! The sweet tea is delicious! We went by today I tried the El Valle plate for the first time, the enchiladas were amazing! Beans were good, rice wasn’t bad and the carne guisada was nice and soft. To my surprise though the serving was more sauce than beef, surprised because y’all are always very generous with your servings. Maybe next time I’ll Bring it up to my server. My wife had an omelet plate and my daughter had a ham and egg taco! Man y’all don’t mess around with those flour tortillas! Delicious! Also our server Alexandra was excellent! Great service with a smile and she communicated with us well. Front of the house was nice and sat us quickly as usual. We will definitely be back again real soon! Also thanks for the LEO discount!

5 /5 Nate Brown: I’ve been coming here with my family ever since I was a kid. The staff & the owner make you feel very welcome & provide a good vibe and atmosphere. The Food is always on point, my favorites are the Menudo, Silver Spur Taco & the Double Strawberry Glazed Waffles. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. This restaurant is a staple of Brownsville & I recommend anyone visiting the city to experience Toddle Inn.

1 /5 Stacey Cee: **Edit..since the owner (or whomever runs their Google page) told me not to "exaggerate" the cost of 2 gorditas..I will clarify and upload a pic of my bank charge - 2 gorditas and a glass of orange juice cost me 20 DOLLARS (still not worth it) at this establishment. I gave a 5 dollar tip to the server because it was not her fault the food tasted so bad that we couldnt finish it. I never blame shit food on a good server and will always ensure to tip. Giving 3 stars only because everyone on the staff was so friendly and looked well put together but the food was definitely a 1 star. We drove from Harlingen to Brownsville specifically to try out this place based on good reviews and were very disappointed. We both ordered gorditas and could barely force down half of them. My barbacoa was shear fat and tasted old. My gordita was soaked in so much oil that when I left, I tasted oil in my throat for nearly an hour. Normally, I dont rate a restaurant so low based on one dish as I usually go back and try something else on the menu but I dont think Ill be doing that given that it is a smaller restaurant with far too many tables for its size. The lady sitting behind me kept bumping my chair (to no fault of her own, we were just crammed in there like sardines) and it was so loud in there that I could not even hear the conversation at my own table. My advice is do not come with a large party and dont waste your money on their gorditas. 25 dollars for 2 gorditas is a bit much in my opinion.

4 /5 Mauricio Espinoza: First Time we came on a whim, and had a great experience. Quickly greeted and seated when a tabled became available. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose breakfast tacos and a side of pancakes. They were large and very filling paired with a salsa. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and are looking foward to trying other dishes off the menu!
