The Guava Tree Cuban Cafe & Cantina - McKinney (TX)

5 /5 Adam Beuchert: This was my first Cubano sandwich experience and it was delightful. The service was wonderful, they checked up on us multiple times and brought us some sauces. The sandwich was just amazing, the pork was so tender, house made pickles were fresh, and the ham/swiss was a match made in heaven. The crisp bun just completed it all. The plantain chips were crisp and salty with a slight sweetness. The yucca fries were great as well, the yucca was tender and the toppings added some great flavors. I don’t know the exact sauce name but get a side of the red sauce and dip the cubano in it… GAME CHANGER! Would definitely visit again!

5 /5 Melanie Dielmann: Hidden off the main square this place is a gem. The El Cuban was amazing, fresh, flavorful, and just the right size. Served with perfectly crunchy plantains. Ropa Vieja was also fresh and delicious. Get the large mojito on the rocks, $11 for small and $16 for large! Service was great, very friendly, and the patio is perfect! We will be back for sure!!!

4 /5 Murph: The Cuban sandwich with plantain chips was very good. I was particularly impressed with the plantain chips because normally I dont like them but they were crispy and deliciously seasoned. They seem to have a pretty good selection of beers and cocktails, as well as outdoor and indoor seating. I enjoyed it and would definitely go again.

5 /5 Michael Mecham: Wow! How have we never been here since they opened 5 years ago! Now we will go all the time. Come back for the Cuban Colada and Cubano sandwich and the new shredded steak sandwich! Cocktails slay too!
