1 /5 Gilberto Andre Elissetche: This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
The service was essentially nonexistent from the moment we sat down. There were two of us at the table, and when we asked for coffee, only one person was served. No creamer, no utensils. We had to ask again for coffee for the second person, and when it finally came, it was half a cup. The server asked, “Are you good?” instead of doing the obvious thing—bringing more coffee. Completely unacceptable.
The restaurant itself was dirty, which immediately raised concerns. We considered ordering mimosas, but quickly changed our minds after seeing juice and champagne sitting out on the counter, being served warm. That’s not just careless—it’s unsanitary.
For about 15 minutes, there were no employees to be found anywhere. I eventually went behind the counter to get straws to stir our coffee since it took 50 minutes for our food to arrive. During that time, customers walked out without paying because they couldn’t find a single staff member.
The food was just as bad as the service. The burger we ordered was laughable—the size of an English muffin, dry, and overcooked. I ordered the hangover hash, which was ridiculously salty, overloaded with undercooked chorizo, and had enough potatoes to feed six people. To top it off, they never brought the cranberry apple butter that’s supposed to come with the biscuit.
The staff appeared completely disorganized and lacked even basic customer service skills. Whoever was managing the restaurant that morning clearly failed at every level and should not be in charge.
Yes, it was New Year’s Day—but it wasn’t busy enough to excuse this level of incompetence. Basic service, cleanliness, and food quality should never be optional. I won’t be returning.
