5 /5 Amy York: If you are reading this review, go to Shrimp and Stuff immediately! My family and I have eaten at many of the local restaurants during our trip in Galveston, and we all agreed that this was the best.
We ordered appetizers of coconut shrimp and crab balls. Both delicious!
My husband ordered fried shrimp that came with hush puppies and fries. One of my daughters ordered a bowl of shrimp gumbo, and the other had chicken fried chicken served with mashed potatoes. The gumbo was on point. I was really impressed with how good the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes were.
I’m so glad that I ordered the grilled shrimp. The shrimp had a decadent butter sauce on them. The rice and veggies accompanied the shrimp nicely. The veggies appeared to have been fresh, not previously frozen, and they were cooked to a perfect al dente.
Finally, don’t miss out on the bread pudding. What a way to finish the meal!
The service was excellent. All the staff were friendly.
I gave 4 stars for atmosphere only because it was a little loud.
We will definitely be back.
