Riondos Ristorante - Galveston (TX)

4 /5 Pink Hat Gypsy: Very busy on a Friday night so we sat at the bar. Bartender Shara was friendly and made great drinks. We ordered Meatball Appetizer, Scallops Appetizer, penne pasta, angel hair pasta and bread. Food was delicious and Appetizer portions were generous enough to be a meal. Instead of angel hair pasta they brought me penne pasta, we were in a rush so just ate that, it was very good. A little noisy but able to have a conversation with loud voices. Inside and outside seating. Nice decor.

5 /5 Dawn W: We are visiting Bolivar peninsula on vacay and came to Galveston for the day. Riondos is on the Strand and even though a more formal restaurant, we sat outside on a beautiful November afternoon.The weather was great!! And the food was incredible! Our server was Clay and he was marvelous. He took the time to thoroughly explain each dish, and he was wonderful to us!! My shrimp po boy was fantastic on fresh in house chiabatta bread and huge, plump perfect shrimp. My dining guest meals were equally delicious- the Lasagna Bolognese and Chicken Parm. Will definitely come back again.

4 /5 Diane Slaughter: I’ve been to Riondo’s several times as it is one our my favorite restaurants in Galveston. I was a little disappointed with my recent visit. We came for lunch on New Year’s Eve, so that may have had an impact. I ordered a penne and shrimp dish with asparagus and mushrooms. I was disappointed with the super small amount of asparagus, like almost none. I have had some amazing food at Riondo’s, but this wasn’t great. Way too much pasta and not much of anything else. My husband got the Spinach Gnocchi and it was fantastic.

4 /5 Silvia Boccardo: Made a reservation and they told us they only had a little table at the entrance. We asked for a different table and we were agreeable to wait for it but they told us there was no other option and we had to leave. We saw several empty tables while we were waiting ..I dont think they even try to give us a different one..

5 /5 Terri Downey: We stopped in and had a wonderful experience for happy hour. We had the fried ravioli which was fantastic. Our waiter brought out their marinara sauce and suggested a dollop on top to elevate the flavor and he was right, so good. I had the lemon drop martini and it was so fresh, a heavy pour and the glass was ice cold. My husband got the whiskey flight and was very pleased with the suggested options to try. The happy hour prices were awesome, especially in these times when everything is so pricey. We will definitely stop in for dinner next time we are in Galveston.
