5 /5 Jeff Wilson: Super cool to go to a restaurant that you watched get remodeled on TV! Nice place with a family atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food wasnt bad, but it was definitely Tourist pricing (its Galveston after all.). The Local (or queso dog) was really good the fries are hand cut potatoes and are nicely satisfying. They even have some Local Dog stickers!
For Galveston the place had good parking!?! Even a handicap spot by the doors. Large indoor sitting area with long picnic tables, but dont worry there were regular chairs in some spots for those of us who cant navigate a bench. There is a good sized patio area with just as much seating as the inside. The bathrooms were clean and stocked.
Cute little play area outside the door complete with hop scotch grid and bike rack. No Michael or Ashly there the day we went.
