5 /5 Marsha Russell: This place is worth the drive from Austin! Everything about it — its location on the town square, its Texas-pub style interior, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, the creative menu, the food, and the beer — made it the perfect place to meet for a late lunch. The place was hopping midday on a Tuesday, so clearly it’s a favorite of the locals and surely draws people driving through. My calorie-counting friend ordered a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, and I got the FABULOUS Pecan Sweet Chicken, a fried chicken breast topped with honey pecan sauce. It was unforgettable. The dessert menu had several options that looked awesome, and had I ordered any, I’d have followed the pecan theme with the Brewer Chocolate Cake. Next time!

5 /5 Diego Salinas: We really enjoyed our visit to this brewery! I dont even drink beer and I still indulged. The Pumpkin Pie Ale in particular was a real standout. I was also very pleased with the chicken fried steak, as it was very big, very tender, and came with potatoes and a vegetable side. The gravy was just the right consistency and the fry on it was great. As my waitress said, it really "stuck to my ribs" ! If we had one complaint, it would be that the fish and the fish and chips was a bit dry and chewy, we thought maybe it had been fried too long.

5 /5 Mel Johnson: We visited after a long hike and really enjoyed our meal! The craft strawberry lemonade was soo delicious! My smash burger was flavorful and tasty. We also enjoyed the chicken nachos and Thai wings. The guacamole was also delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful as well.

5 /5 S H: A great stop on the way through the Hill Country or as a destination in itself. Friendliest service, amazingly creative brews and homey Texas feel. Theres a sometime dance floor in the back or area for live music- or seating for a larger gathering if you are a big group (ask ahead!) If youre there during the holidays a must try is their "Christmas Tree" Spruce brew-- brewed with Spruce tips gathered and brought in from Southern Colorado. Its like drinking a Christmas Tree. Do not try this at home, but a definite must at Pecan Street!

2 /5 Eric Hernandez: We got fried chicken skins, wings, and fried mushrooms as appetizers and they were great. However, the food wasnt very good. Breading on hicken fried chicken was mushy, lamb burger had too many flavors going on that didnt go with each other, and the club sandwich could use some improvement if they used different bread. I have hardly ever given a bad review on a place. I can usually give a good review when the food is bad if the service is great. The main reason for a low review here is the food was not very good but the service was even worse. The older man with a beard at the host stand in the front was very rude. He is the sole reason well never step foot in this place again. Our server was ok, though, a little odd. This could be a cool place if the can improve on personnel.
