El Charro Restaurant - Johnson City (TX)

5 /5 Lancey Lane Quirante: So glad we came to this place and not the other restaurant down the street. The food came out fast and you get a big portion. We had: Fish Mojorra 9/10 - fried perfectly, the sides were meh Barbacoa meal 8/10 - a little bland but it was so soft ! Chicharrones taco - 9/10 - soft and crispy at the same time, wish I had some toppings though Pastor taco - 10/10 so flavorful Sopapillas - not bad 7/10, nothing to note I had the drink in a bowl and that was super refreshing. It was the server’s first time making it and she made it well. If I ever come back in the area, I’d definitely fingers again. The food prices was 10/10 :)

5 /5 Rix Kamelski: First visit. Great food, great service, great coffee. The pork chop was the best Ive had in a looking time. Opinions may vary but it reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. Not only was the coffee hot and fresh but the cups were the heavy, thick ceramic kind that I much prefer. Edited: Food is still great, coffe kept full. Try the enchiladas with eggs.

5 /5 Jan Campbell: This restaurant was recommended by the manager of our RV park. It was wonderful! The service and the food were top notch. We will be staying in Johnson City for aprox 6 months so Ill have time to work my way thru the menu.
