2 /5 Bryan Cruise: So the wife and I stopped in after going up to Fredericksburg. We were very hungry and wanted some Barbeque. The place was empty but based on the time and day we figured it was only that. I ordered a loaded brisket potato and she got a two meat plate. My "loaded" potato had what looked like one piece of meat chopped and a ton of shredded cheese. Off the bat, the potato tasted old and rubbery. The meat had absolutely no flavor to the point that the cheese overpowered it. I ate the few pieces of meat and ended up tossing the rest. My wifes plate was no better, the meat was dry and flavorless. Potato salad tasted like it had been sitting in a pickle jar and the Cobb was not to her liking. Unfortunately we left without eating our plates. I understand that business at 2 pm on a Friday might be slow but I refuse to accept that as an excuse.
