Pappas Bar-B-Q - Pasadena (TX)

1 /5 Rita Cruz: I have never been here, but my partner has almost 5 years ago and she got food poisoning. We recently moved to Pasadena three years ago and I’ve always wanted to give it a try and today was the day. And let me just say I highly doubt it I’ll give it another try. my partner brought me the mixed platter plate of two ribs two slices of brisket two slices of ham and sausage. For my side I got coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. Also, may I add that this did not come with a drink. First, my ribs were not fully cooked. They were still raw that I had to put them in the oven. the coleslaw had no flavor macaroni and cheese was just too wet the sausage was too tough. And for the price they didn’t give a side of pickles or bread. The french fries were a plus, but besides that my experience with the food was not a + in my book.

3 /5 Reece: Once again order $50 worth of bar b q and get a half assed order. There’s literally no reason for it other than laziness, I’ve given this place so many opportunities but I guess I’ll be going to the mom and pop place up the road, bigger portions lower prices and the smoke flavor is actually there. Really sucks cause I grew up on Papas but it’s just not the same anymore

3 /5 richard cortez jr.: there was plenty of cheese but no taste. hardly any butter, I had to add extra from home. no utensils so luckily I went home. drive thru seems to have only 1 speaker working,so the girl seemed surprised when me and the car behind just drove to the window. she says you didnt order? I said you not answering the speaker and 2 cars already had passed on the other lane. a little rude in a way. for this service Wendys would have been better for the same size potato at half the price

3 /5 Jerry Choate: Its a chain BBQ restaurant. You know what youll get. The prices a very high for mediocre BBQ. There so many other great BBQ joints in the Houston area that Id rather spend my money. I only went here because my employer paid for lunch.
