Mckees Family Restaurant - Paris (TX)

4 /5 thetravelercarl: This is my second time in Paris. Found this restaurant. The ambience was a bit off. People were watching at us so I just ignored them. Got seated, ordered steak and corndog and fries as sides. Corndog was good but steak was overcooked. I always want my steak at medium rare, sure it was well done. Price wise, it was very affordable.

5 /5 Devon Kolander: Husband and I stopped for dinner on our way through Paris. We were greeted promptly and well taken care of. We both ordered the Country Breakfast; his with ham and mine with bacon. Everything was delicious!! The hash browns were good and crispy. They were just shredded potatoes with some butter and pepper and nothing else, which is just how we like them. The eggs, my bacon, my husbands ham, and the pancakes were all cooked to perfection!! We had no regrets on our choice to stop there.

1 /5 Semtech 1964: This was our first and last visit, we are new to the Paris, TX area. I was happy to find a local home town restaurant. We were not impressed with anything, except for the service. The food was barely edible and the beans had a very strange taste, we were hoping we would not get sick. The tables had food pieces on them and the floors were dirty. I definitely do not recommend the restaurant. Also, when we entered the restaurant, the people just looked at us and did not say anything. I had to ask if we wait to be seated or sit anywhere.

2 /5 boice anderson: I ordered the chicken fried steak, food was good, they didnt offer mashed potatoes and gravy for a side. When i went to pay the bill, the checker asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I told her no because I had left cash on the table. She seemed hesitant when I asked for a receipt . When I got the receipt, she had charged me 26.00 or double the amount of my meal. The manager did correct the transaction for the correct amount, but I wonder how many people she has scammed
