4 /5 Frank Johnson: Great value for the price. The food was fresh and well prepared, though I prefer my pasta al dente; mine was served perfectly ben cotto ... I was informed while not on the menu , they do still make the Carbonara - which I will have to try next time. It is prepared with ham as opposed to the guanciale- but well see ... The insalada caprese was delicious, despite someone being stingy with the balsamic glaze ... the garlic rolls are tasty , a bit underproofed and therefore small .. but like my waitress said "well bring as many as you want" - I genuinely prefer the food and ambiance here to the Casa Del Mare and its assembly line of perfunctory Italian food. Having said all that - I feel Capizzis falls just a little flat, lacking the passion of an old world mom and pop Italian eatery .. Overall - the food is delicious, superior to other local establishments. The setting quite beautiful, Id be perfectly at ease bringing a date..
