3 /5 Alex Grossman: Decent food, service was off today… they seemed unprepared for brunch. Plates were stacking up on our table with 4 staff people talking near by (it wasn’t busy at all) I had to clear the table myself once Server left for 10 minutes at a time, no refills. Food: Omelette station pretty standard Avocado toast (wasn’t toasted, just warmed bread) Chimichangas were surprisingly good (egg & chorizo was my favorite) Brisket was great Baja chicken was ok Chocolate fountain with strawberry and marshmallows was fun! WAFFLES were a throw away item, an absolute afterthought and the only thing that didn’t make it into my stomach (wound up in napkin) Brunch comes with 2 mimosas which is great, charged the same for my 12 year old though… In my opinion there should be a lower price for no alcohol

5 /5 Lynden Gwartney: Matito’s Tex-Mex in Flower Mound, Texas was a fantastic surprise and an absolute pleasure to visit. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and comfortable — the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good conversation, and know you’re about to have a great meal. Everything about the experience felt thoughtfully done, from the service to the food to the drinks. The shrimp tacos were outstanding. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and paired beautifully with fresh toppings that brought everything together without overpowering the dish. Every bite was balanced, satisfying, and clearly made with care. They were easily some of the best shrimp tacos I’ve had, and I would go back just for those alone. One of the highlights of the evening was their peppermint espresso martini — a truly unique and memorable drink. It was incredibly well put together, smooth, festive, and perfectly balanced, with the peppermint adding a refreshing twist without being overwhelming. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely warm, happy to talk through the drink and make recommendations. That level of expertise and hospitality made the entire experience even better. Overall, Matito’s Tex-Mex delivers great food, creative cocktails, and a welcoming environment that makes you want to stay awhile. I’ll definitely be coming back and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent Tex-Mex and standout drinks in Flower Mound.

5 /5 Kacey Parkinson: First time visitor to the Flower Mound location, had the Maria plate with a puffy taco and an avocado enchilada. What a delicious lunch! Loved the cilantro sauce on the enchilada, and the chicken in the taco was very well seasoned. Complimentary chips and two(!) different kinds of salsa to go with them rounded out the offering. Staff was so welcoming and attentive, and made me feel at home. A great place to eat, will definitely be telling friends and family about yall. ¡Mil gracias!

4 /5 AR: Ordered mojito, margarita and sangria. I like mojito. Then the main order. We ordered CHICKEN FAJITA CHIMICHANGA (friend burrit), shrimp fajitas, chicken enchiladas. Food was good, but they were closing soon so we didnt order the dessert. Overall decent experience.

5 /5 Rich Flynn: Service was stellar. They have an outside covered patio that is dog friendly. It was a cold day. We were the only ones there yet despite that the buser Chino went above and beyond and went to get a 10ft ladder to climb and plug in the overhead heater. Brought water for our dogs. He was extremely outgoing and focused on making our experience the best he could. Great worker and should get a raise. Chino was great! Food and atmosphere were also very good.
