5 /5 Bonesy: Easily my favorite restaurant to date. Staff is friendly, food is 10/10 and the atmosphere is so intriguing, showing the past 100 years the place has been open. Absolute treat to go there every time and I look forward to my next visit constantly.

5 /5 Yasha Hartberg: Perhaps one of the best kept secrets in Bryan! Martin’s Place has been in business over 100 years. It’s a bit spooky driving up because it’s not obviously a restaurant. Entering doesn’t put your mind at ease since the last time the interior was updated was in the 1970s, and you may not see anyone behind the counter. In short it’s a hole in the wall in all the best ways, and the food is fantastic!

2 /5 Jevin Griffin: Came here with high hopes because my friend swore this was the best barbecue he’s ever had in his life. That being said, he hasn’t been in Bryan for 10 years. The brisket was possibly the worst I’ve ever had, the ribs were almost the worst I’ve ever had. Both overcooked, tough, and cool to the touch. The fries were decent frozen curly fries, the okra was actually great and the sausage was mids. The sausage and the sides saved this place from getting 1star. The ambience was everything you want in a hole in the wall hidden gem. It was smoky from the smoker inside and the decor was as if I stepped into a Time Machine to the 60’s or 70’s. Loved the atmosphere and the staff.

5 /5 James Kendrick: Very awesome almost hole in the wall BBQ place with its own historical marker. So much about this unique location from the atmosphere, friendly family that runs it and not to mention the awesome BBQ!

4 /5 jana hughey: This was a place we stopped for brisket on the way home from the Coast. I enjoyed the old diner atmosphere. The food was pretty good. It was priced at a great value. That was very Appreciated.
