4 /5 C. Briant: This place was really nice! We went on the weekend, so we were automatically treated to the dinner menu options and pricing, which we made the best of by really trying all the dinner options we could (items in red in the menu). Unlike other places we have been to, the sashimi here are bigger and you are given 3 pieces of each instead of just one (the white tuna was especially buttery). The fried avocado appetizer was a pleasurable new experience, great flavor and mix of textures. The pork skewers were a bit of a letdown size wise, but the flavor was good. The fish taco appetizer was... interesting. The menu made it sound like it was being served on a fancy home-made tortilla, but it was served on a Pringle. Not really an issue with regards to flavor and texture, but I just they had been more transparent about what we were getting. The gyoza was pretty standard, and the Japanese spare ribs were really tender. Highly recommend the Rattlesnake Roll and the Rainbow Naruto! This place lets order only 5 items off the menu at a time, but there is no time limit and you can order as many items as you want during the course of your meal. It did take us a while to be served after we were seated, which was odd because there were only four other tables with customers seated at them in the whole place; however, once our server introduced herself to us and took our drink orders, she was amazing! New drinks were brought without asking, she checked on us constantly, and she and the other wait staff did a fantastic job of clearing away old plates. The only other hiccup we had was when it took 15 min for one roll to be delivered after our order was put in. Even our server said that was too long. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
