5 /5 Sinjin: I brought my son here, he had the Chicken Fried Steak and I had Lamb Cops with mashed potatoes and greens on the side. I sampled his of course cause, well I’m a dad. Let me tell you some of the freshest best prepared meals I’ve had in a long while. I immediately imagined that the produce was brought in locally and served up in a timely Texas manner. Don’t pass this place up! And don’t be intimidated by the motorcycles parked out front - most of those guys only ride their bikes to church - yeah I said it. So the staff was friendly and quick they were also quick to say that in no way are they associated with the namesake hotel that they operate in…I asked the waitress about possible lodging and she told me to get on a phone to find out - not as rude as it may sound, but certainly not helpful. Now I’m a drinking man but on this day I noticed my son was counting my drinks ( something he must have picked up from his momma ) so I ordered a soft drink but couldn’t take my eyes off the bar which was super close and seemed to be calling my name. Drop by this place, it’s comfortable and folksy and just a little overpriced in my opinion but still very very good.
