Elizabeth It was amazing! The best cheeseburgers we have had in a long time while dining out!!! My husband and I both got a build your own cheeseburger and fries, we kept it basic because we just wanted a traditional cheeseburger. They had a nice variety of food and different topping for the burgers. The food was fresh and hot! The people were really friendly, they brought us our food and checked on us while we were eating. I am glad we decided on Buffalo Bentleys for my birthday dinner :) ! We will be back if we are ever in the area again or even an hour out! It is worth it! The view was lovely as we are from the Galveston county area and do not have views like this.

Ila England Sky Island Taproom offers traditional grill type items like hamburgers and pizza but we ordered one of the signature pasta dishes which were excellent with sauces made from scratch.. Nothing from a jar here. Staff was friendly and hard working. We even met the chef. All in all this was an excellent experience.

Far West Texas Honest Reviews Had an amazing dine in experience. Drinks and food were amazing. Our experience was enhanced by the best ever bartender. His name was Kiki. We had a chicken sandwich, chicken strips, cesar salad, margarita and an espresso martini. These were the best drinks we have ever been served and we will definitely be back.

Jackie Bowman Great place for breakfast. I had a breakfast burrito, which is an over sized breakfast taco. So good. My wife had the Chilaquiles Verde. Spicy and so good. Highly recommend for breakfast.

Lisa Wilkins This newly renovated restaurant and lodge is such a gem! The view from the restaurant is beautiful. It’s casual, so it was perfect after our family hiked around the Davis Mountain State Park. The food was delicious with lots of choices and a nice salad bar. The service by Sonya was outstanding, friendly and welcoming. It’s a solid option for a meal in the Fort Davis area!

emma york Wonderful authentic food! Pork papusas and huaraches with corn n a cup was incredible! We went back 3 times during our stay. Good place that is reliably open.

Lynn Kitschy.....only open a few days a week but worth the wait. We havent been in since last last year (2024) but it has been all you can eat for $13, and is very good. Fried chicken and sides plus dessert, Chicken fried steak or fried fish (very tasty) on another day plus sides and dessert. Drinks extra. Call for days and menu. Its on the left with a large parking lot in front, as you leave Fort Davis on the highway to Alpine. Pretty annoying that one guy can give it one star and give no reason but not open when he wants it to be open (below)

Janice Gonzalez Speak easy BBQ restaurant. The food was amazing. Pulled brisket, cucumber salad, roasted corn, potato salad, beans, and the chocolate pie was delicious. Of course we couldn’t finish it so dinner will be delicious.

Rock rodriguez Food was excellent with great prices. The lady that took our order was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place. I order the enchi burrito. It was amazing. The beef was spiced to perfection and the sauce that came with it was very good. Just a word of caution, it was a little on the hot side which I loved.
