2 /5 Gee Cee: I’ve been wanting to try Dragonfly at Hotel ZaZa for a long time, and I’ll start by saying the vibes here are amazing. Even late at night (we came around 11 p.m.), the energy was great, people were still coming in, and the atmosphere felt lively and fun. The drinks were solid too, no complaints there. The dragonfly details everywhere, was a really sweet touch.
As for the food, it was really hit-or-miss. The truffle fries were tasty, and we tried a couple of desserts (the crème brûlée and the brownie) that were just okay — not bad, but not memorable. The big disappointment was the pizza we ordered off-menu (half cheese, half pepperoni). Unfortunately, it was honestly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I hate saying that because I had such high hopes for this place.
Overall, I’d recommend Dragonfly more for the vibes, late-night scene, and drinks, but not so much for the food.
