2 /5 najee bell: The empty parking lot should’ve told me everything I needed to know . I’m writing this review because I normally frequent Dimassi’s in Houston. The one off Kirby Avenue is second to none when it comes to both service and food. I decided to come to this location today since I’m staying up the street.
Right away I noticed that about 90 percent of the food was cold. I wasn’t really tripping at first. I just figured I’d get what I liked and move on. I asked for a lamb shank and sat down for maybe a minute after getting it. When I went to eat it, it was cold too. I could actually see the fat from the lamb turning solid on the plate, which told me it had been sitting out for a while.
I tried to ask the gentleman who handed it to me if I could get another one since it was cold. He started talking like it was somehow my fault it wasn’t hot. Because I could barely understand what he was saying, I just assumed he was going to get me a new one. Instead, he completely ignored me and left me standing there waiting.
After a few moments, he told me it would be five minutes and went to speak with the lady at the register. She told me I would need to pay for another one because it was my fault it was cold. I explained that I had just sat down and hadn’t even had time to eat it. She still tried to defend him.
At that point I just gave up and figured I’d write a review. I’ve never had customer service like this at any of their locations, not even at the one where I almost got sick.
