Dannys Restaurant - Laredo (TX)

2 /5 N: The lunch menu advertised guacamole salad with the enchiladas poblanas, but when my food didnt have it, the server said, "Its only on the menu version." "But I ordered it off the lunch menu? It even says it right here," and I showed her where it said it on the *lunch* menu. "Yes, but no." So it wasnt a mistake? They fully know it was falsely advertised it on the menu, but they still refused to honor it? Thats never happened before. Good food, but not coming back.

3 /5 cynthia rodriguez: Stopped here because my sick mom wanted breakfast tacos from here so they must be good. I went thru drive thru and I ordered and it took A long time to get order. I had thought they forgot about me and was about to drive off.

4 /5 Joshua Steele: I have delayed reviewing Dannys because.....who hasnt been there. With 14 locations, its like asking who hasnt been to McDonalds. Not that the two restaurants should even be in the same sentence. Now the only question is "which is your favorite location"? Each has their own atmosphere and vibe, but you will not be disappointed no matter which one you go to. The service is too notch. There is never a shortage of wait staff at a Dannys, and the staff must enjoy working there because I have not seen a disgruntled employee yet and I have been going to Dannys since 2008 when I first rolled into town. My go to was the Dannys Big Breakfast which is a huge bang for your buck (see the photo). It comes with either French toast or pancakes. I recommend the French toast, you will love the thick homemade bread. Wow! Get the eggs scrambled with yellow cheese for an over the top meal. We had stopped coming to Dannys a few years ago after being weekly regulars because they had gone through some pricing issues as their prices soared. They have since adjusted them to a reasonable level and we are back. Great sturdy tables that are always clean and solid wood comfortable chairs with remodeled restaurants give Dannys a warm inviting feel. Solid thick ceramic plates and coffee mugs complete the vibe of quality. Oh yeah, and they have some of the best free chips and Salsa in Laredo. The salsa is a bit watery, but the flavor is top notch. Enjoy!

5 /5 Just Me: Great food and awesome service. The portions are perfect. I had the enchilada plate and they arent like other places that drown thw plate with cheese. The wait times are minimal. The enchiladas were stuffed with plenty of chicken and sauce as well.

2 /5 Carlos Castaneda: It was ok but not great. The sauce needed spices tasted bland. Waited 20 minutes to cook one additional egg to the order.
