2 /5 Lindsay: As a Fort Worth Native this restaurant is nostalgic for me. When I was younger, this was our special-occasion restaurant. We decided to dine here on Christmas Eve for our family Christmas dinner. I saw someone with a fillet, and it looked divine! I ordered one, and mine looked like it was carved from a piece of sirloin, with a thickness of 1/4 of an inch. Keep in mind, this fillet was claimed to be from Taylor Sheridan’s Ranch. It was tough and looked like something that should have been fashioned into a Salisbury steak rather than served as a fillet. The side salad was delicious, the onion rings were a great appetizer, and my drink, the blackberry mule, was probably one of the best cocktails I have ever had.
The patio extension is gorgeous, and I would recommend grabbing a cocktail and an appetizer here. I WOULD NOT recommend eating a main meal here. I appreciate that Sheridan revamped a Fort Worth staple, but the food quality just isnt there for me.
