Magels Grill - Paris (TX)

5 /5 April Thomas: My family of 4 went on a Saturday for lunch. The hostess greeted us right away and was very nice. It wasnt too busy and we were seated right away. You get rolls and butter when you are seated. They do have appetizers on the menu as well. Lots of home-cooked foods like a Cracker Barrel. The waitress said that everything is homemade. Everything had lots of flavor and the sweet tea was just right.

5 /5 Galaxy Plumbing: We stopped in for lunch passing through town. We had such a great experience here thanks to our waitress, Kayla. She was super friendly from the moment we sat down and made us feel really welcome. She checked on us often without ever being overbearing, and our drinks were always full. Kayla gave great menu suggestions too, and everything came out just the way we ordered. We will definitely be asking for her next time we come through.

1 /5 Wanda Crawford: Ate at Magel on 10/24/25 there was a lady who had 2 kids and a baby , we could see them they were fine a waitress asked to hold the baby the mom said fine then another waitress asked the mom her name she told her the next thing the police came took the mom outside a pointed police officer ask the kids questions the mom was not detained but she came back in mad. I heard the second waitress say the manager called the police we couldnt not see what her or her kids had done and the police did not take her I will not go back and will tell my friends about this that manager ruined good night for many of us

5 /5 Eliya Shirwood: Amazing restaurant! Hosted a great birthday party for my grandmother (42 attendees) and made the experience easy to plan and attend. Garden salad was delicious with the ranch dressing, and chicken fried steak went well with the gravy.

4 /5 Vicki Trujillo: My husband and I went there recently and ate for the first time. He ordered the chopped steak and I ordered the grilled chicken with mushrooms. He said he would give his food a solid four 4️⃣. He said his chopped steak was perfectly done, the macaroni and cheese had great flavor, and the brown gravy was delightful. I ordered the grilled chicken with mushrooms and I sent it back ak most immediately. I did not like the seasoning on it at all, and asked for some without seasoning and so for me, that was much better. I would give mine a three 3️⃣ at the most, but the cream gravy I would give a five 5️⃣. I’m really pretty picky about my cream gravy, I grew up on it, and their’s really tasted good. My husband said he would like to try Magel’s again and so we hope our next meal is flavorfully delicious!
