Fish Fry - Paris (TX)

5 /5 A M: This restaurant has become my cousin & I favorite spot to eat at whenever we come to town for the Dangerfield Reunion. Its our annual tradition. We get the all you can eat catfish dinner and its always a hit. They even allow us to bring our own loaf of white bread in with us so we can make fish sandwiches. The service is always friendly. Check them out next time youre in Paris, Tx.

3 /5 Richard R: A must visit when in Paris, tx. The boiled shrimp and fried oysters are fantastic. The fries are even better than the hushpuppies. (And the hushpuppies are really good. ) our catfish was overcooked and tasted burnt and was extremely salty. But the other items were so good, we will be back to give it another shot. Skip the coleslaw. I understand sweet slaw, but this was horrible.

4 /5 Melanie KRD: If you dont ask for the boiled shrimp to be served hot, it would likely be 5 stars, but they were hard as the dickens to peel and bland - no seasoning, so I knocked off a star for that. The fried fish, hushpuppies, fries, and slaw were all good. We first found this place 9 years ago and were super excited to be driving through the area again so we could dine in. My husband is obsessed with the hushpuppies - they are long, skinny, and not greasy at all! Well visit again next time we find ourselves close by and recommend others to try it too.

5 /5 Allan Carroll: Ive only eaten here once but I must say it is really great fish to be so far inland. The fish was seemingly fresh. I even ordered oysters on the half shell, and they were the freshest Ive had anywhere this far from the coast. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!
