Brian Barnes I visited recectly on Fathers Day while on vacation in Galveston. What an unbelievably friendly group of volunteers. They made us feel welcome, and even though we were only going to be there for one visit, they made us feel like family. Pastor Trey was funny, engaging, and most importantly, presented sound Biblically based teaching. If I ever visit again or move to Galveston, this is where I would go again and be glad to call these folks my brothers and sisters in Christ.

From the warm welcome you get upon entering, to the uplifting praise & worship music and lastly but not least Pastor Trey is AMAZING. Inspiring and moving his message is strong and fierce; adding his own humor while still really hitting home Gods word. I feel at home when Im there and have met life long friends since attending. James Krolnik My Wife and I were on our Honeymoon in Galveston and our last day there happened to be 12/31/23 which was a Sunday. We feel God has blessed us so abundantly as an older couple each entering our second marriage, and we want to put God first in everything. My wife found this church that morning and we loved it. The worship music was wonderful, the preaching was spot on about counting your blessings even during hard times and looking for the blessings that God puts into your life. He is blessing all of us even when our circumstances do not seem to show it and we know without a doubt that our relationship is a huge blessing from God. I was very impressed with the sermon and would recommend any visitors or residents to check it out. We were greeted in a very friendly way and felt very comfortable there. A great experience and a wonderful way to begin our last day in the area. I hope God continues to bless this church.

Ignacio Valdes Built in 1877 by Irish Americans and raised 5 feet after the 1900 storm, St. Patricks is an impressive Catholic Gothic church in Galveston, Texas. The interior and exterior is magnificent. The congregation is friendly and has good energy. The church for some reason reminds me of Christmas no matter what time of the year I go. A remarkable place to go to mass and experience the holy Eucharist.

Cynthia Hernandez So beautiful! With all its ornate details. The Bishops Palace (currently under renovations) is across the street on one side of Sacred Heart Church, and across a little street on the other side of the Church there is a tiny park with a white picket fence around it that has a brick path in the shape of a Rosary that circles around a shrine of the Blessed Mother Mary. Theres nothing else but a bench in the little park. It was peaceful and nice to see in addition to the Church and Palace.

Its the first time I been ask to take my hat off. The moment I walk in I greated the gentleman at the door VERY RUDELY HE TOLD ME TO TAKE OFF MY HAT . AND the reason why I always wear hats is because im 25 and going bald. I struggle looking in the mirror. I have very bad self-esteem issues that im Currently working on. TBH honest I havent been to church in 6 years only reason im here bc I promise my daughter I would come. I have too many blessings to be greatfull for.. just bc of that gentleman I regret coming to church I feel so uncomfortable . Instantly I felt angry. IM Looking around looking at my brothers and sisters in chirst. not a single visible tattoo. JUDGEDMENT in the house of the lord... I come from the struggle. Im from San Antonio here on a family vacation. I dont want to sound like a karren but the level of uncomfortable I felt and judged is beyond wild. Coming back to church mean so much to me. To a normal righteous person its just a other day. To me it mean everything. Im heart broken.. beside my feeling this church I forgive the gentleman. Once again im sorry . We have Lifegroup that meet every week in homes all over the island, and soon we will be opening a 24/7 prayer room! Robert (the pastor) is one of the most genuinely humble dudes I’ve ever met. His messages are all about Jesus. Antioch Community Church is a part of a movement of church plants all over America, I went to my first one in College Station when I was in university and have loved Antioch since joining. This church really carries the heart of God for the lost, is laser focused on Jesus, knowing Him more, and his heart to see the great commission fulfilled. Key verse for Antioch Galveston: “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:4‬

Lacy Hargrove Absolutely phenomenal!!! I loved everything about this church. The people, the atmosphere, the worship, the sermon, literally everything. Being a first time guest, they really strive to make you feel special. I even noticed that everyone there is a big family, which is a major plus in my book.
