Texas Card House (TCH) at 6100 Westheimer is hands down the safest and best-run card house in Texas. They follow the federal/state (grey) rules properly, never rake the pots, and instead charge only for time. This makes a huge difference—players save a ton compared to other rooms that take big rakes, even on small pots. The staff is professional, well-trained, and run the room like a top-tier casino. Honestly, it feels more like the Wynn or Aria in Vegas than a local poker room—everything is organized, efficient, and polished. The room itself is modern, clean, and comfortable, creating a true first-class poker experience.

1 /5 Eric Kessler: I played poker in almost every available Texas Card House. This location in particular fumbles lots of good cards when dealers deal cards. Usually they fumble A, K, Q, J no low cards. Very consistent and ironically usually those are the cards you need to scoop pots, but somehow they fumble you out. Act like an accident. But the truth it only happens at this very location. You don’t have be a fool to see that something going on. Management doesn’t do much, beside have a nice day. The one in Spring is a lot better at dealing. I understand sometimes cards may turn upside down when they deal but it’s not so consistent at Spring location. But customer service is pretty rude at both locations. If you feel like a victim of fraud, do not be afraid to report to FTC directly.
