5 /5 Kim Martin: Love this place. Action is always great, and price to play is excellent value. Staff is top notch. Customer service is clearly the #1 priority. Virtually always great service from service team, dealers, and management. Food is surprisingly very good, I admit I was not expecting it. Standard quick service type offerings but there are some great meal offerings and specials. I highly recommend the grilled chicken salad. Room for improvement with tables and chips. Tables have a high rail and uneven layouts, makes it awkward to handle chips and cards. Chips are plastic rather than standard casino clay composite. But these are minor inconveniences for being an awesome place to play poker in Houston area.

Riz Man: First time playing after a decade. Was a little skeptical at first but I am glad I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The early bird tourney was less people than expected but the free roll was pretty stacked for the night game. Very friendly and efficient staff including knowledgable dealers and management. The fellow players were nice and courteous too. Over all everyone made me feel very welcome and comfortable which was really nice. Ended up splitting both games with final few players for pretty much highest stack which was also a sweet feeling. I just wished that the point leader board for top 25 was displayed at all times live for everyone to see which would certainly get me motivated to come back for more to try to make it to the list.

The opponent bed 50$ then I snapped, he changed action immediately and changed his opinion to 15$ because he just had K high. Im sure she was sitting next to me she was watching her phone and didntt listen well She should judge fairly, but she suddenly joined the conversation then she said he said 15$, Im a floor. Im a young Asian so she is a 100 percent Asian hater. I liked here and enjoyed playing so Im so sad to be treated like that. Never came anymore. Be careful for Young Asians.

Jokers of Aggieland - College Station

Vic Galante: I saw a picture of the $1 Jokers of Aggieland chip before heading to Texas and knew it would be one of my stops on this years road trip. There were only a few poker rooms in College Station, and upon further inspection it appeared that Jokers of Aggieland was operating at the same location as Texas Ave Social Poker Club. I arrived at 7:30pm to find that Jokers expanded upon the space that Texas Ave occupied by knocking out the adjoining wall to the next unit in the strip mall thereby giving them enough space to add 4 more tables. Several players were on line at the cage to get chips for a game that was just about to start. They collected a $5 membership fee and I purchased $300 worth of chips and was also given a seat number card. That was something new. I asked what happened to Texas Ave and the owner said that the 2 clubs combined earlier in the year and took the name of Jokers. They did not charge an hourly seat fee as Texas Ave had, but rake $5 per pot instead. Youll notice the unique orange $25 chips. They look even better in person. They also use a bomb pot button, but this was a Dealers Choice button. Players could select almost any game. The first time it came into play the player selected 4-Card Crazy Pineapple where players ante $5, are dealt 4 cards, and discard 1 card after the flop and 1 after the turn. You can see the cards being dealt in the picture above. I was dealt AAT8, raised to $30 and got 2 callers. The flop came AK8. I discarded my T, bet $55, and got 1 caller. The turn was an 8, I discarded my 8, bet $75, and got the call. The river was a 7. I moved all-in for my remaining $107. My opponent squirmed for quite a long time before folding pocket kings face up! Good start to my session. This room certainly has the feel of playing a home game in your buddy’s basement poker room. Everyone is friendly, the staff is accommodation, and it has a very casual feel. You’ll be comfortable playing at Jokers of Aggieland. Give it a try.
