cel We absolutely loved our meal! Every dish was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned. Both the macaroni and cheese and the corn were exceptionally creamy and rich. Everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. Even as a takeout order, the quality and temperature held up beautifully. We will definitely be back soon to enjoy the full experience by dining in!

Kristin Kurzawski I had previously been to this restaurant alone on a visit to New Braunfels and just by chance my mother in law and I decided to stop there for her birthday lunch this past week. It was even better than I remembered (which was already great!)!! Our server, Pearl, took wonderful care of us and even indulged us by creating a fancy layered “birthday shot” called a B52 that’s a tradition for my mother in law and I on her birthday. We can’t wait to come back for more delicious food and top notch service at this wonderful establishment.

Christina This is by far the best movie theater Ive ever been to! I wish we had one in Kentucky! It was so clean, bright, and beautiful. The seating was absolutely amazing, and the movie Spider-Man was fantastic. We had a wonderful time!

Olivia Ann Photography This place is great! We’ve lived here for 3 years and somehow haven’t noticed it yet — it’s a bit tucked away in the circle! Great food for the most part, one of the sandwiches we ordered was supposed to be toasted but came out a bit cold. The fries were so flavorful and so good! The bacon jam burger was great too, the bun wasn’t too soggy and the burger was cooked just right. We sat outside and loved people and car watching. Loved the music they played and the service was great! Will definitely have to come back to try the brunch.

Mariah Whitney Absolutely loved The Root Cellar Café in New Braunfels! The asparagus fries with homemade ranch were incredible. The savory Belgian waffle with crispy fried chicken and the biscuits and gravy (we added sausage) were both delicious. Finished with a warm brownie and vanilla ice cream, perfect ending. Great atmosphere with beautiful indoor seating and a cute outdoor picnic area. Highly recommend!

Anthony M This is a wonderful, kid friendly, live music having, 100 plus beer option, inside or outside sittin kinda place. Went on a saturday around noon. There was a fast moving line to get your name on their list. 5 minutes later we were texted w our available table. On some Saturday mornings , a farmers market is also happening in the same parking lot. The food is great, German style dishes. Our server was great. We chose to sit outside on a warm Jan day. They offer flights of beer, and of course, the big mugs as well. Parking all around for 3.00 for 2 hours, $5 for a litgle more or $9 plus change w taxes for 24 hours. But there is also plenty of free parking (less during market days/hours).

Bianca Morin I highly recommend this establishment for fried catfish. As regular patrons, we consistently experience exceptional service and cuisine. The perfectly prepared dishes and welcoming atmosphere make dining here a true pleasure. Our preferred choices are undoubtedly the onion rings and expertly crafted sweet tea. Despite our numerous visits over the years, the quality of the food remains consistently outstanding. The rustic decor adds a delightful touch to our dining experience.

shelby paniagua Great vibes, great drinks, and even better service. The atmosphere at Black Whale Bar is always fun and welcoming, whether you’re out with friends or just grabbing a drink. Shilo the owner is absolutely amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of the whole time. You can tell they care about the customers and the energy of the place. Definitely one of my go-to bars and I’ll keep coming back.

Tifarah Canion This place stole my heart. It’s absolutely perfect. Seriously. Everything was I N C R E D I B L E. We had a sparkling red wine, pickled veg, the best castelvantrono olives ever, hummus, bread, potatoes, halloumi, radish, cesar salad, and the tiramisu. I will be dreaming about this spot until we go back.

Amber W I ate here tonight with my son and parents. The food was incredible - the Bluefin Tuna Ceviche was the best ceviche I’ve ever had. It was so good, grandma ordered one to go. The server was excellent, Grandpa said he was a real asset to the business- he joked with my son, was patient, and very attentive. 5 stars across the board. I drive past this restaurant almost every day but I never knew it existed. I’m so glad I found it from a Google map search. We’ll definitely eat here again.

Kate Rimolo Great little restaurant with a patio in downtown new Braunfels. Sydney was our waitress and she was fantastic—friendly and proactive. She also offered beer recommendations, which I greatly appreciated. It is dog friendly and has patio and inside seating. It was 80+ the day we were there, but with was nice and cool on the patio. Their cocktail selection is good, as is their craft beer selection. It was my second time here and I would come back for sure.

holly haby This is a must if you like fresh tasty Italian dishes (lunch special 10.99 includes a salad or soup with meal) Friendly staff and delicious food. The garlic knots with the olive oil garlic dipping sauce is soooo good. The fresh garden salad with their homemade tomato basil dressing was a must try. We had a variety of different wonderfully tasty foods pasta trio, pasta sampler and the most delicious eggplant parmigiana!

Michelle Fuentes We went to munchies for the first time today and had a great experience! I got the limonada and my husband had the mangonada. Both were delicious and the service was friendly and fast! We will definitely be back to try more items and be recommending this snack spot !
