The office runs efficiently and client calls/concerns are immediately handled and discussed thoroughly. They have a passion for their profession and handle cases as though the client is "family." They are prompt to respond to opposing counsel communications (despite the lack of similar courtesy from them) from discovery to case completion. Steve Bolgiano Mr. Jenkins is a very out standing man with impeccable character. He graduated from Baylor law school and I think served on the board of regents at Baylor University. My cousin also graduated from Baylor and he too, is a respected man in Ellis county. I have decided to post this review so anyone else in Ellis county that gets him as a court appointed attorney can read this. I can tell you without a doubt that he will NOT represent you and that he does exactly what the DA tells him to. All attorneys are officers of the court first, and represent their clients second. But in my opinion, he is an officer of the court and does exactly what the DA wants regardless of the best interest of his "client." I was prepared to pay the top of the scale as far as the fine goes ($4,000) spend some time in jail, and be done with my mistake in Ellis county. But on my court date, it was "crammed down my throat " that I would pay a $950 fine with 2 years probation. Like I told him the first day we met, I, Steve Bolgiano am not a candidate for probation, but here I am. So if my probation gets "violated," I wonder if he will represent me for free. I seriously doubt it. Good luck to you.

Heather R Nolte Kim Pinkerton went above and beyond! My husband and I had a legal issue come up that his previous lawyer had failed to complete (I will not name him because I do not want to even promote his firm). After almost a year he was still dragging it out! We tried constantly to get in touch with him as it was going to completely destroy our chances at purchasing our home with the closing date coming quickly! We were referred to Kim and absolutely could not fathom ever finding someone that went straight to work and got all of it done within days! Less than a week at that! If you are stuck with a worthless attorney or are looking for an attorney DO NOT PASS THIS FIRM UP! I promise you will be beyond satisfied! We are currently working on another case... with Kim and Joann and on top of taking care of that we have even been given advice on other matters. Kim and Joan genuinely care and look out for their clients. If I could give 100 stars or more I definitely would! Marcus Wood I was impressed with Mr. Johnsons honesty and his ability to deliver bad news without it being seriously upsetting. I could tell that he truly wanted to help me. He answered all the questions that I had and in addition, he offered information that I would have no way of knowing that I needed to even ask about. Be prepared, he is very straightforward and to the point. I like that in a person and especially in a lawyer. He was recommended to me by a friend who said that he was very good and I must say that my friend was indeed correct. My circumstance meant that Mr. Johnson wasnt able to help me but I would highly recommend him to anyone with a need for legal counsel. he has never represented me or won or lost a case for me but our meeting and the conversation that we had put me in a better place to make informed decisions than I would have otherwise been. Should the need ever arise, I will definitely seek his advice again. I highly recommend him.

Brenda Bell I had a great experience with Hale Law Firm. I am not very computer literate and chose not to use the portal. They accommodated me in supplying paper copies of needed forms. They were courteous in answering questions (and I had many) and often provided examples to explain their answer. I would use the firm again should the need arise. I would recommend them for matters pertaining to estate planning.

Charley Knight Janet Traylor was my "court appointed" lawyer. be really careful with her for she does not want to get you free. she wants to get the pay for putting you behind bars. withholding evidence that could set you free. plus ellis county wont let you use the law library and keeps you in jail longer than you need to be. she showed up late to a court and had someone stand in that wouldnt let me talk to the judge or wait for her to get in to court to proceed. even her secretary quit on her because she refused to get the evidence videos to the court and prosecutor. be aware of this one. if it would let me i would give her zero stars.

gloryvic100 I had never been in trouble before. Never even gotten a ticket. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and I was arrested. Janet Traylor was my court appointed attorney. She was patient, she answered my questions, which were many because I was worried. I was hit with a felony and two misdemeanors and she got all 3 of them dismissed. I dont have to check in every Monday anymore. Im just thankful that Im no longer a criminal. I want to say a big thank you to janet traylor who basically saved my livelihood and reputation.
