Jim Ivy Just went to visit my Great-great-uncles grave. He fought the British and Indians in the Florida wars under Andrew Jackson when he was just a boy. Moved to Texas in the 1850s and farmed near this old church. It is a beautiful old cemetery. Very peaceful and serene.

Jordan Coburn Very friendly and welcoming country church with Bible-backed sermons. Brother David has been the pastor here for 20 years at the time of this review and he is always sure to deliver those messages that you need to hear. He has a solid biblical doctrine and believes in all of the important points. There are weekly Bible studies and all worship services are uploaded to YouTube should you miss a day or want to check it out before going. Sunday School starts at 9am and worship service starts at 10am and generally ends at 11:15-11:30am. Most congregates go out to eat in groups afterwards in Caldwell if you want to visit further. Come Czech out this gem in the community of New Tabor!

Be aware of high grasses and weeds around the area and this is way out in the country. If you decide to go poking around, watch for snakes and other critters.

Hand down the best pastor this church has ever got. Plus the game night Fridays was an awesome thing to start to give kids something to do in stead of getting into mischief. And the Love that pastor Brad, Mrs. Sylvia, and the congregation has for everyone that walks through that door man I swear you can feel it miles down the road before you even get to the church. David Zalesak People are very welcoming and the choir is good. The lectures, Deacon and Priest are loud and clear which is nice that you can hear them well.

Dennis Frantz There is a beautiful story that more than 100 years ago, a 12-year-old girl, walking in a cotton field near where the little church sits now, saw an apparition of a lady dressed in black who asked the little girl, "why there was no church in this place?” After several more appearances of the lady, the local farmers gave their first cotton crop and donated land and labor to build the sanctuary in six weeks. It is a lovely church, with white clapboard planks and a tall steeple. It is situated in cotton country mixed with pecan trees and pump-jacks, as is common in Texas. Not many would stumble upon this pretty little church, but if you happen to be near College Station or Caldwell, it’s definitely worth a stop.

Its like your there and your not being judged on who you are especially dont get judged on what your wearing . The sermons are wonderful and its like being in a huge room full of friends and make new friends.
