5 /5 Candice Tufnell: Dont waste your time going anywhere else! Rice Diamonds is going to give you the best quality and service. To say Im a jewelry lover is an understatement! I have been to every jewelry store and rock shop, from Washington to Texas looking for jewelry and gems, I know a lot about diamonds and have purchased at luxury brands as well as mom and pop for years. So I do not say this lightly, but my experience at Rice Village was the best jewelry shopping experience I have ever had full stop! First they have a great selection of natural diamonds! They have high quality settings that are unique and diverse. Arcelia was amazing, she looked at my inspiration picks and searched high and low for any ring I might like. And this is a special ring as its my 18 year wedding anniversary so Im taking my time. There was no pressure at all she let me try on everything and touch everything and I felt comfortable the whole time. The diamonds are much better than the quality you find at other stores great cuts and color all around. You really couldnt go wrong with anything in the store. Ronnie was super knowledgeable! I could have geeked out talking to him about diamonds and gems for days! He even offered to find me a special emerald at the vagus gem show, he was fun and friendly as well. I am very excited to find such a great place and Im sure I will be purchasing many pieces from them in the near future. Update: After taking time to enjoy looking at the larger selection of diamonds, I decided on an amazing 3 stone ring, it’s a stunner! More sparkle than I have ever seen! It was a great price too, definitely competitive to online sellers, but way better quality and personal service. I also got to see some of their custom created tennis bracelets and they were true perfection, I would definitely recommend if you are looking for anything custom!

Gil is a master of diamonds, design, etc. and will build you the perfect customized engagement ring based on your personal preferences. Each ring is made specifically for the person wearing it. He responds to texts and goes above and beyond. I totally trust him and his exceptional experience and knowledge. No cookie cutter rings here! Only the best quality at the best price. Rhiannon was our sales rep and she took so much time to show us many rings to make sure we locked in on what we like best. Her advice was very helpful. Since sales people here are not paid on commission, they truly care about your happiness and not pushing the ring. Honestly, if you are in the Houston area, do not buy another ring before checking them out first. You will be happy you did!

We visited a few other jewelers prior to this but Rice Village just had that good old fashion small business feel! They were so friendly and took so much time to show us the options and discuss what we were looking for. They answered all of our questions and I never felt like they were trying to upsell us or even sell us at all. I could tell they just genuinely wanted us to find what we wanted. I left feeling confident that I would get what I wanted in the end for a fair price! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking at engagement rings or any other jewelry pieces.

We felt like our needs were listened to and everyone was very attentive. I didn’t feel like they were trying to push a sale rather they were very passionate about what they do and creating beautiful engagement rings. We walked in knowing we wanted to do a custom ring and they walked us through every step of the process. When we started building the possibility with Gil we knew we found our place. They found us the perfect sapphire oval stone and were able to create a beautiful one of a kind custom ring. Gil and the entire team at rice village are very knowledgeable and they even added a few more details that really elevated the design. We couldn’t be happier and we will cherish this ring for a lifetime!

From the start, Suzanne helped us feel as comfortable as possible with the process of selecting a stone. She helped source a beautiful diamond and involved us in the process of ensuring its quality. Moving to the design portion, we had a rough sketch with some additional thoughts on which to build a design. Using our suggestions, Suzanne was able to quickly synthesize a CAD rendition of just what we described and then worked graciously with us to finely tune the design to make it exactly what we were looking for. From there, she and her team helped to create a magnificent ring which helped make for a most memorable engagement day. Truthfully, we couldn’t recommend Suzanne and Houston Inter-Continental Jewelers enough and couldn’t imagine the process without her. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever meet the right person, so it was very emotional for me, even though I hid it well. I have multiple disabilities and to say yesterday was emotionally exhausting in a good way, doesnt cover it. RJ made the appointment extremely easy and smooth and I cannot recommend him enough. He showed me everything I had requested and was VERY laid back, calm, and patient, which is exactly what I needed. My boyfriend will definitely be back up to see him in the future. I so appreciated how mellow jell-o, as I say, the appointment was. I was encouraged to take my time, explore all my options and given a wealth of information on everything from the rings, diamonds, and even the warranty. Thank you for making it a special day!!

Yasmín Suarez: I was happy to buy from this store did a online purchase and had the worse experience. I order a Carti bangle 4mm and before doing a purchase I asked the lady about a 6mm if it would fit a size 7.5 to 8 she said yes . regardless of that conversation i decided to buy the 4mm bangle when purchasing their is an option for you to put a note which I did I put I want a size 8!! I said 8 to make sure it would fit me I got a 7.5 bangle bracelet they keep justifying because of the conversation I had with the lady about a bangle fitting 7.5 to 8 but that was a completely different mm and on notes when purchasing it I wrote I wanted a size 8 so that should be respected owner did not even help at all wasted my time calling her she just try to justify with the conversation about me asking about the 6mm bangle instead of understanding when I did my purchase I put I want a size 8 . I was offer to exchange it but I would have to pay shipping fees and the difference which I would have took it if they would have responded When I first messaged them they left me on read and I had to keep messaging them constantly for help .

Mark Gartner: Took 2 rings in for repair. First, I was a bit shocked that the wanted to charge me over $400 to replace the semi-precious stones in the rings. I know that the cost on the stones is typically around $20. But, I acquiesced and left the rings with them for repair. They advised it would be about two weeks for the repair to be finished. After a month (and absolutely no communication), I called and was advised that there had been an unforeseen delay. A phone from Shaw’s would have been a sign of good customer service. They told me my rings should be ready in a week. 8 days after that, I called again. They advised that they had encountered yet another delay - but again, they did not call me. They said it would be a few more days. In short: I had to physically go to Shaw’s and retrieve my rings. I will never again trust them. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
