1 /5 Michelle Buford: Our Realtor highly recommended Stephanie Waterman. I am not happy with our experience at all. Weve had our house and insurance with Stephanie Watermans Farmers Insurance for a little over a year now. I should have known better when we were trying to get it all setup a year ago with the lack of return phone calls and emails from Linda. She never would call me back or return my email without me following up multiple times.
Our flood insurance had to be transferred from the previous owners name into our name due to lack of elevation certificate on the property and that way we also wouldnt have a 30 day wait period, especially during hurricane season. Fast forward to this year, I emailed Linda a few months ago asking her if an elevation certificate would help reduce our flood premium. No response. After reading further, I decided to have one done on our property. Our insurance policies were renewing in 5 days so I called to let them know about the elevation certificate I had just received. Kristy gave me her email address and I sent it over immediately. I followed up the next day to make sure she received it and she responded she had. Then I followed up the next day to ask if I needed to go on ahead and pay or if they could have the adjustment made in time, and she told me she had just looked up our flood policy and it had been CANCELLED in JULY! WHAT!! DURING HURRICANE SEASON!! I received NO notifications whatsoever. They obviously did not update the mailing address and contact info on the flood policy. I was LIVID! They dropped the ball big time. I do not recommend Stephanie Waterman.
