It’s outdoors, meets rain or shine with the thick scent of testosterone and coffee. 5/5 stars highly recommend In all seriousness, these men are my friends and brothers. They sharpen me to be a better man, husband, and father. The work out is what brought me but the fellowship is what Keeps me.

5 /5 William Arvance: Castlegate Park, aka "The Keep" is a FREE mens outdoor workout group nestled in the tender bosom of the Castlegate subdivision just off William Fitch. The workout is well worth the dues you pay, which are not financial, but you must be willing to accept some bro-hugs, fist bumps and occasional male banter. The group is largely elderly gentrified men but they have tons of life experience which they gladly share with us younger dudes. 5 stars all the way! I will definitely be back soon!

5 /5 Will Otto: I have to admit, after seeing the sheer strength, size, and quickness of the men who work out here, I was intimidated. Not to mention they all had above average looks and relatively mid-level IQs. As it turns out, these dudes are dudes. No shaming, no meatheads, and mostly steroid free (from what I can tell). They encourage me, challenge me, and make me 1% better each time I am there. I dont always want to wake up at 5 and work out, but I get up easier knowing I am a part of this brotherhood. I also hear the coffee there may or may not cause you to actually hear colors.

5 /5 M C: I have driven by the park for years never realizing what an important role it would play in the transformation of my life through F3, a free workout group open to men of all fitness levels, where exercise becomes secondary to the camaraderie and life lessons gained. Strangers become mentors. Neighbors become brothers. Men become leaders. It’s happening out here every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning at 5:30 AM (rain or shine).

Anita Reddy: My parents live in this community but are not part of the club. We decided to have an event here since our first choice in Bryan was not renovated in time. That was a bad choice - the event coordinator is unresponsive to phone calls, voicemails and emails. The only way to get her attention was to show up in person. Renovations were occurring during the week of the event and we were told that the lobby would be done by the time of the event - nope, not done. Event was horribly understaffed - 2-3 people for 150 guests - tables were not cleared of empty plates and glasses, there were no glasses at the beverage table, no plates and forks at the dessert table. Though the staff who worked the event were nice, they did not have the back up of the event coordinator. The speaker system blew at the beginning of the event and several guests left - looking through the reviews the sound system has been an issue for YEARS. We reached out to the General Manager and have not heard back.......would definitely NOT recommend having an event here. The only plus side is that we ordered desserts from the club, and those were excellent.
