My friend, who travels constantly for work and pays for access to all Crunch Fitness locations, tried to work out here during her one small window to decompress after a long week on the road. Unfortunately, she was denied entry due to a glitch in their system—not hers.
Even though she showed proof of her membership and offered to pay for a day pass just to get her workout in, the staff, including the manager, flat-out refused to let her in. But what made it worse? The attitude. The manager was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. No empathy, no willingness to help—just a cold “no” and a shrug, as if her well-being didn’t matter in the slightest.
This gym clearly doesn’t understand the meaning of customer service or basic human decency. When someone is asking to pay for access and your system is the issue, the solution should never be to turn them away—especially with an attitude.
My friend left the gym feeling humiliated, frustrated, and without the mental reset she desperately needed. No one should be treated this way, especially when they’re just trying to take care of themselves.
If you value kindness, professionalism, or even just a decent experience at the gym you’re paying for—avoid Crunch Fitness Laredo. This location is a total embarrassment to the brand.
