1 /5 Shin Onikumo: Affordable.... But at the cost of a small gym with limited machines and other patrons that are very inconsiderate. I often see, especially the oldem men, hogging 3 or 4 machines and or station! Why? Why are you such an awful person. Just train at home, youll save 20+ a month. I hate this gym, but it is the most affordable.

5 /5 Jamal Robinson: If you’re looking for a gym in Laredo look no further! I go to Laredo for family and work every so often and I’ve always used golds gym. I went this past weekend to Laredo and I went to golds gym and paid almost 22 dollars for a day pass. I went to this gem of a gyms and literally paid 6 dollars and got a freshly made 16oz protein shake for less than 5 so yeah I paid less than half the price for more. They don’t have the brand new equipment but they have what you need and some. Family owned and operated, great atmosphere and memberships less than 23 dollars a month, a definite must!

Angie Ramirez: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My son is 13 and has been with Chris since mid May. I can see a difference in my son. My son was a beginner at working out and knew nothing about it. Chris has had patience and has guided him every step of the way. He definitely gives him the push he needs to not "throw in the towel" as he says. If he slacks a bit, he gives him that motivation to keep pushing to give it his all. We admire his dedication and attention he gives to make sure you dont give up. My son looks forward to his workouts with him. He can be sore and in a bit of pain but still looks forward to working out. I highly recommend Atia Fitness with Chris. Especially any camps for kids, (as my son attended one with him aside from his normal training days) and really enjoyed it. Chris has a passion for what he does and it shows. Looking forward to more trainings with him.

Nobody: It’s a really good gym and I love that’s it’s an actually 24/7 gym, amazing. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 starts is because it’s always way to cold, others and myself need to take a sweater just to nearly even pop a sweat. Before I can even finish my resting period the vents are already blasting me with cold air.

F.JSanchez x: "if someone brings their 10 year old kid and is told to wait in the waiting area, and the kid needs to go to the restroom, you are going to tell them - No, go cross the street" Assistant manager - "Yes, if I let your company or that kid use the restroom I have to let the whole world use the restroom" Ive been coming here for about years now, I have never had an issue with other members or even staff. But, recently this new management has really drawn the life out of this place. Seriously disappointed, again because Ive been coming here for so long but recently Im seriously considering switching gyms. Edit for response: The person I was with was 22 years old. Not a kid. So no excuses. I used that as an example of the extreme rudeness your staff have shown. You should check with your staff to make sure they are not ruining regular members experience and making it a bad one. And when I say "regular" I mean one who goes in on a regular basis. This is a really bad response cause it shows you did not even speak with your staff to figure out what happened. This post will remain up. Also I am not your friend, I am a paying customer. A paying customer that is very disappointed with the management of this place and the response. But to be even with you I know handling untrained staff can be hard. Sometimes you got so much on your plate and hope you can trust whoever you put in charge. But it is your job to make sure your members are happy. And here, today, you failed your members

chris gaona: This place charges $65 a month when their restroom has been clogged and piss infested for 3 days going on already. Due to probably not re stocking a business essential toilet paper people are starting to protest by rubbing their feces on the walls.. once my membership is up I am outtie. Pool is pretty good tho 1.2/10

James Weathered: I was in Laredo for one week on work travel and signed up online for the 7-day free trial at Gold’s Gym. When I arrived at the Del Mar location, staff told me the trial was not accepted and instead offered me a one-week paid pass. I agreed, signed some paperwork, and had my photo taken—under the impression that this was only for one week of access. I only used the gym once, as I found the facility lacking, the atmosphere unwelcoming, and the staff unfriendly. Two weeks later, I began receiving calls claiming my account was past due. When I followed up, I was shocked to learn that I had supposedly been signed up for a full-year contract instead of a one-week pass as I was told. When I tried to resolve the issue, the general manager refused to make it right. I was told I would need to pay $188.08 to close the account—“discounted” to $108.08—or the balance would be sent to collections. Despite clearly explaining the situation, I was treated as though I was at fault. After speaking with other military personnel, I found that this has happened to several of them as well. This seems to be a recurring pattern at Gold’s Gym Laredo, and I would caution others—especially service members—to be extremely careful before signing anything at this location.
