Barbara Noble My daughter who is a single mom of 2 little ones is a student at Brazil’s port college was charged 175.00 for services not rendered! Stephen said her appointment was at 1pm where she was told 2pm when she showed up they had already charged her credit card for 175.00 and she didn’t get her hair done. Now I’ve heard of doctors and dentists charging a fee for missed or cancelled appointments but NEVER for that much! A 20-30 fee is applied. I have been going to Kayla there for years as I’ve taken my daughter however with this “new policy” we will be looking elsewhere for our hair needs. It’s a rip off to gouge people this way! And the sad part was Stephen didn’t even seem apologetic for this.

Anna Galloway Kayla cut my son’s and my hair. She was fantastic! We made the mistake of going to Urban and Eve a few months ago and had to let our hair grow out enough to be able to cut out the disaster. Kayla fixed out terrible cuts beautifully, in short order, and for a more than reasonable price. The attached boutique has great products as well! The salon is comfortable and welcoming. This is definitely our new salon!

Jennifer Greene My daughter, college student, went to get a haircut. This was a very basic trim/cut-nothing fancy at all. . Her regular stylist was on maternity leave. So the owner cut her hair. No price was quoted and no price was posted. He charged her $80. The hair it is mediocre at best. I feel like he took advantage and it’s very unprofessional. If I could rate lower than a 1 star I would. I did call to speak directly to the owner but had to leave a message. Never received a call back. Would NOT recommend.

traci deininger I had so many bad cuts so I searched around and found the beauty college.I cant say enough how wonderful they are.They gave me a perfect cut and most amazing highlights. I got treated like I was the only customer there.This is a learning salon and they are supervised by the nicest patient teacher.If you want a super cut and many more serves and give them a chance to learn.I highly recommend them.And they have better prices because a learning environment. Thank you for giving great pampering

Chandler Hine I absolutely love Made You Blush! They have always done a fantastic job no matter what I ask from them. Stephanie and Christina did my hair/makeup for my bridal pictures and wedding. I was also a bridesmaid at a wedding where they did hair/makeup as well and they always do a fantastic job. I would recommend them to every future bride around the area. I currently live in San Antonio but visit my family in LJ and get my hair done by Vania. She is super amazing and so sweet. Plus she is one of the only people who can cut/style my thick, thick hair. Prices are fantastic for the job that they do! LOVE UPDATE: Since I posted this review, they have also been vendors for my sisters wedding (October 2020). Again, they hit it out of the park. Everyones hair and makeup was so beautiful! BOOK THEM. P.S. Also included a pic of my mothers hair from my sisters wedding. They do great with MOB/MOG.

Hope Janise I get my hair done at the Made You Blush Studio and people always ask me where I go! I also have used Sharon & her team for my wedding makeup and hair and they did an amazing job. All of my family and bridesmaids were able to pick what fit them best and everyone looked amazing that day. Super professional service and the nicest people! 1000% recommended.

Kassie De La Fuente Beautyland studios is the best salon! All the ladies there are all so welcoming and loving, no judgement and make you feel and look so beautiful!!! Its the kind of salon that you build relationships with everyone, eventually if youre consistent you meet all the other consistent clients and everyone talks to each other during the hair appointments! Its so much fun!! Everyone is like family there, theres so much trust. I can easily just tell the ladies "surprise me" and they never ever ever disappoint!!! My daughter even loves it here, we have a routine with Kim and Kathy (only Kathy can cut my daughters hair but only Kim can blow dry and style) not to mention the cute bath bombs Olga gets for your little kids to enjoy and feel as if theyre shopping there too! The vibes are amazing and youll never want to see anyone else after you visit Beautyland! Thats a fact

Ana I got my eyebrows micro-bladed by Olga, she really took her time and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. She is very good at what she does. I will post a before & afters photo. I highly recommend going to Beauty Land Studios. The salon is beautiful, very peaceful and a relaxing environment which I love.

April Turner I’m new to this area, was referred here by a coworker and it’s my first time getting any color service in 5 years! Kim did a very natural balayage with a shadow root and I’m so happy with how it turned out. The Aveda products are a huge plus and they have great selection of retail products. They have fair pricing for the services already and they run specials as well to try out new services or for referrals. The shampoo bowls are pretty comfy which is nice, the ladies all make you feel welcome. This is my new place! Highly recommend

A Daniel Came here to get a cut and waited for a while, I dont know why they have sign in sheets if they aint going to even look at them to check off people. 4people went ahead of me. Service is ok during this time. Dont put out sign in sheets if your not even going to check off the people on the list.

Mallorie Smith Malae is INCREDIBLE! Hands down, the most amazing massage experience of my life. Malae is so thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients and her work. She also educates you! I’ve been to other massage “therapists,” and none of them compare to the treatment I just received with Malae. I already feel 20 years younger just from one session. I will be recommending her to everyone I know, and already booked my next appointment with her.
