Sharon Spataro Go to Dallas Nail Bar and ask for Randy! You’ll be glad you did. You know right away when you have an exceptional experience and that is exactly what happened when Randy did my gel fills manicure. He’s incredibly fast, his work is art and he’s a great conversationalist too! Even better, his work is consistently amazing. The single best experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon and I’ve been getting my nails done for 30 years.

Courtney I come here regularly, I recommend this spot to all of my friends, but my latest experience was uncomfortable and may have set me off coming back. I was greeted but never offered a beverage. The guy who was doing my nails was chit chatting with his neighbor nail artist the entire time, at times talking about friends who were recently murdered. If he wasn’t talking to her, he was talking about being single and not interested in another nail artist that was into him, or he was hitting on me. Oh and he was telling her (who is apparently new) how he’s swooped in and built up his clientele quickly in like 3 months and giving her tips to upsell. That should’ve been my key to not fall for the next point in my review. I was hesitantly talked into trying GelX (instead of dip with short tips), and what a waste of money that was. Just over a week and while the nails are holding up fine, the polish has been chipping away with everything I do. Same nail artist claimed it would last for 5-7 weeks. LOL. Absolute sham. Now I’ve spent $80 and have to redo the polish myself since I’m in and out of town with no time to come in the next 4 weeks. I don’t want this experience to overshadow my experiences as a whole, but this experience was awful. Dallas Nail Bar, please look up who I had and have a conversation with him about not making his clients feel uncomfortable.

Keya Kandel Gwen was a great nail tech, did my nails to my full satisfaction!! She was super friendly and sweet. Her work was neat and met my standards! definitely worth it! loved the service and loved my results!

Adja Diop This place has never let me down!! I’ve been to at least 5 different people at this point and I’ve never been disappointed. I drive over an hour to get here each time and it’s WORTH IT. I trust these people with my life at this point

Sofia Ramon UNSANITARY, messy, unfinished work that was done with used tools. The manicurist did not fully remove my previous red nail polish even though I asked her to do so. She used old and unsanitary tools on me that I had to ask to change because they looked so worn. After she grabbed a new nail file, she proceeded to return her used nail file into a dirty ziploc bag with the rest of the dirty tools she did not sanitize. THIS IS SO UNSAFE. How could a manicurist be okay with putting her clients at risk for an infection or worse? Her work is messy, the edges are not fully polished, and she did not do me the full service of cutting/cleaning the nails properly. Very unprofessional and disappointing. The photos were taken after the appointment and look very bad. I have come here many times and have only received proper professional service from Ryan. I won’t be coming back.

Esther Mergerson I come to Uptown Nail Spa consistently for Mina to do my acrylic overlay! She helps turn my simple ideas into something cute and creative. I also love the fact that my nails last well over 2 weeks and are still healthy. I’ve recommended her to many of my friends.

Keaira Lee Okay this might be a long review. I went to this nail salon because it was to only one open on a Sunday after 6pm. Mostly everyone else was closed. I tried to call and make an appointment but you couldn’t make an appointment due to there being some sort of policy that doesn’t allow appointments on Sundays, only walk ins. I pulled up at around 6:20pm and they told me it would be a 45 minute wait. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes until I was seated in a chair. Then another 15 minutes until someone started on my toes, and then another 20 minutes until someone started on my nails. I patiently waited until I received my services because I understood that they were super busy due to them really being the only shop open after 6pm on a Sunday. Reasons why I gave them 3 stars is because even though the wait time was very long (they did do a great job getting people in and out), I was disappointed on how my nails came out. My toes seem ok, but the shaping for my nails are not the best. Not sure if it was because they were in a hurry or if it was the lack of skill from the person who did them. I honestly don’t like them. My feet are not as soft as they could be. I wouldn’t really come here unless you are desperately needing your nails done on a Sunday after 6pm lol. Or come when is not busy. UPDATE: They called me to come back in to get my nails redone and I did. I absolutely love my nails now! They look so much better. Before leaving, the lady at the front desk was very sorry and gave me a $10 gift card. They were so apologetic and helpful and I’m grateful for that. Thank you !

Daysia Pinke I have been going to Uptown Nail Spa for about 3-4 months, and so far it’s been a great experience. Emily usually takes care of my full sets and she is great (she did the tortoise shell french & Christmas nails pictured). She pays attention to detail and takes her time to ensure I am satisfied. I also like how this nail salon is aware of trends and can execute them by bringing your visions/inspo pictures to life. It is a little pricey due to the area, but worth it for the ambiance, experience, artistry, and skill of the staff!

Halle Smith I go to Tiffany and I have never had better service. She is fantastic. My nails always look exactly how i want them and she fits me in within an hour notice. I just moved here and was really wanting to find someone i could give all my business too, and they’ve done just that. i highly recommend this place and Tiffany!!

Samantha Ritchey Do not go here unless you intend to waste your money and time. They do not do traditional acrylics here. Only dip or GelX. Extremely expensive for a poor quality service. I had an appointment at 11:45 on a weekday. I came in and was not helped until 12. It was nearly 2:30 before I was out of the salon. It took the tech over 2.5 hours to do a basic set (GelX), which is essentially press on nails with just paint. She had to remove 3 of my nails and reposition them, and they were still crooked. After only having them for a day and a half, they are starting to come up. I contact the salon and they are offering me essentially nothing for the poor job. I was charged over $110 for a trash set. After 4 days 4 nails came up and the color started to change quickly. Avoid this place.

Diondra Pittmon Amazing experience everyone was kind, music was amazing, smelled fantastic inside, and most importantly the nail technician took her time and did a fantastic job! I came from out of town and never experienced a pedicure the way I did today. I wish we had a place like this back because I would be a regular. Toya Brown I hate to give this place only 2 stars because it certainly has potential but my experience was my first and last, unfortunately. Besides the aesthetically appealing decor and vibe the service was not the best. Maybe this is due to the tech I worked with but as shown in the photo attached my pedicure nail paint is not only smugged (didn’t dry well after 1 hr) but the nails are uneven as well. I am genuinely surprised by the quality of the service and final product because I’ve gone to less high-end/luxury salons that are cheaper and have better quality service. Again, maybe it’s just the tech I worked with but I would think for the price all techs would be able equally decent especially for such a simple service as this. I hope you have a better experience!

LeaTrim Ive been to this nail salon once before and had amazing service , stopped by another time but they mentioned everyone booked come back next day. I stopped by a week later at 6:40 knowing they close at 7 30 was rushed in and asked for cateye. They were sweet and accommodating but I felt since they were all ready to leave the nail service lacked. I mentioned if they could cover the black they used as a base dip but was told would try to once more. I was not really pleased with how it turned out as you can clearly see black underneath so nails look dirty. Paid 80 for this. I am unsure if I will be back.

Olivia Flores Ive been here a few times and I really love it. Usually get dip and a pedicure. Staff is really nice and polite. The environment is peaceful and clean. Prices are moderate.

K Will AMAZING SERVICE! Rachel did my nails and Tina gave me the best pedicure I have EVER had. She was very thorough and got in there! Lol. Ill definitely be back.

Tonya Jackson I had never been here. I wss greated so kindly by the host she is a beautiful kind older lady. I didn’t feel pressured to get any service. My nail techs were snow and Katie I love them. I got a full gel set and pedicure. Wonderful service. Nail quality excellent pedicure excellent. There were no harsh chemical smells and I was told immediately how much my services would be. I was pampered. I will definitely return. Place is very clean. They aren’t constantly talking in there language around you that sometimes make you feel like they are talking about you. I love this place!!

Jazmin I got my nails done Monday was unhappy went back Wednesday (today) to see if they could add another layer of color or something to help with them being so translucent and they told me that color was translucent and on top of that they charge an extra 25 for this gel color because it’s supposed to be cateye. I went back to get help and they were unwilling. I left but will not go back:

Shayna Strahm One of the best manicures I’ve ever had. Vicky was my nail tech and she was incredible. I was visiting Dallas from KC and was unable to get my nails done ahead because of work. I also broke one of my nails trying to remove my old acrylic myself and it was pretty bad. Not only did Vicky execute my inspo picture PERFECTLY but she was also able to cover up my broken nail. She warned it might not last long but I didn’t care as long as I did t have to wear a bandaid all weekend. Attached photos are my nails (on the left) and the photo I used as reference (on the right) Will defined be coming back if I ever need my nails done in Dallas.

kailee gibson Ivy always does such an amazing job! She did my nails for my bachelorette trip and now my wedding and her attention to detail is unmatched. My fiancé got his nails done with Annie as well and thoroughly enjoyed his experience. ULUX is so clean and the staff is very friendly and it’s 100% the place I come back to every time.

Jamie Anderson Jessica has been doing my nails for two years. Despite having moved farther from ulux, I will always drive back every three weeks for my manicure. I typically get a basic gel mani (with tip usually ~$55) and occasionally one of the special designs (extra depending on design). I just got the cat eye gel and I’m obsessed. Jessica always does an amazing job. When I was getting the cat eye, she was completely done and putting cuticle oil on when she realized that the effect on one of my nails wasn’t quite the same and she stopped and redid the top coat of that nail. I hadn’t even noticed. She always makes sure my nails look perfect ✨ and Im always looking forward to nail day.

Shay Wedeking Amazing mani pedi moment!! Justin did my mani and Mary did the pedi. Both were wonderful. Justin did exactly what I asked for and Mary did literal surgery on my feet (which was needed). I strongly suggest this place! Also John came and helped smooth the edges of my fingers, which I appreciated!! One side note to be aware of: my toes stung when she was taking off my dip. Although I had cut my toe nails short, my toes have never stung during dip removal. Whatever gel they use hurts more than other places. Mary came to the rescue quickly tho.

Breaona Ard They do a really good job, they’re just slightly expensive. I got a pink French set with 2 3D designs for $110. Although they do a good job I just can’t justify paying that price for what I define simple/moderate nails when I can get more elaborate nails for the same price. That’s their business model and I respect it ,but just won’t pay it again. My nail tech was great and friendly. They give you drinks.

Naomi Fowler Layla did an amazing job on my manicure, designs, and waxing - mindy did a wonderful job on my pedicure, best pedicure I have had in 20 years! Both ladies were very attentive and took their time....I will definitely be back!

Brianna Rogers Amazing place, I’ve been here twice and I really appreciate the care and Attention they give To their customers. The first picture was done by Andy, and the design came out so wonderful, he really took his time with my nails and has 7 years of experience. Very detail oriented, and they lasted with regular straight tips for three weeks before a nail broke ( i work construction so that means a lot) the second photo with the almond shaped nails was what i got done the second time and Stacy took an idea i had and made it come to life she was very careful with my nails and always asked If it hurt or was too warm when she was drilling my previous set off. Jen did my feet and honestly i really dislike feet in general but her care and soft hands made my feet feel wonderful, she loves conversation and engaging with you which makes the time go by she always made sure the color was correct along with the thickness of the line. Love this Salon. And they wipe The seats and clean the pedicure bowls After each use

Kamze Harris Hi, I went today and I got a full gel set. Which I was charged $115 for. I’ve never paid this much for a full set. I’m highly frustrated because it’s over priced. Their prices does not match what they have online, And also they charge for length, even if you have short. Just ask for the price of your nails before you get started. Other than this, the service was really nice, and it’s really pretty in there.

The salon was spotless, and the atmosphere was relaxing. My manicure and pedicure lasted longer than expected, and the attention to detail was outstanding. The salon was very clean, and the staff used clean tools that were unwrapped in front of me, ensuring a professional and hygienic service. Sarah Aly This is the best nail salon, I can not recommend them enough! I go to Tammy for my lashes and nails, Jesse for my nails, and Peter for my toes! I have been going here for 4 years and never had a bad experience. I have also had waxing and massages done here as well. I am able to get appointments any time I need and they are always accommodating to my schedule and needs!

Tiffany Bohuchot First time I have tried this place. I recently moved to the area. I was seated immediately. Then had to wait 10 min before I was worked in. I was never offered any beverage or drink. Lady was very rough. She cut my toe. So no tip. Went to pay. I was charged an extra $1.50 for paying Apple Pay. Other nail place I have never been charged a fee paying with debit/credit or Apple Pay. Never will I return here again.

Aspen Taylor Great salon! My technician, Peter, gave me the most beautiful, precise dip manicure with a French manicure upgrade. Seriously the best dip nails Ive gotten in a LONG time! The shop is clean, quiet, and everyone was super nice and accommodating. I will definitely be back for another dip manicure with Peter!

Elizabeth Villalba The shape of my nails is literally perfect!! It’s hard to find someone that can do almond shape really well. I happen to be passing by and they took me in right away and got me in and out in 45 minutes. The work really surprised me and I’m super happy with it.

Grayson Mccarthy Love coming here been my number one and only spot for years!! The customer service is not comparable to anywhere else! They treat you like family and create a relationship with everyone that comes. I’ve sent multiple friends here over the years and they all love it too. Aside from how nice the customer service and experience here is my nails are always PERFECT. They can do anything you ask for and it’s usually better than the reference. I love it here and I will continue to come and send anyone in need of a recommendation here too.

NicoNat Originally I was put off by my nail artists attitude but honestly she did really amazing and super quick. I would highly recommend. My dip powder fake nails costed 44$ not including tip. Be careful of their attitudes but they do amazing work.

Danna Brito They did an amazing job on both my hands and feet. Other places usually leave you with thick nails, not here, they look perfect. Their service is also an 11/10. Pretty quick too. Alexis Garza I have came to this place 3 times now and both times were really good, but I just left and I felt like the guy was rushing the whole time. Some nails do not look almond shape, some are crooked. The design was okay, but I felt like I was overcharged.. I should have waited for T, he is really good. I still plan on going back, but with T. Update: T fixed them and theyre so cute now!! I love them. I will definitely be going back with T, if you go please ask for him. Owner was so nice as well and apologized.

Mary Hollenbaugh Stopped here on way to airport after long week of work. They did an amazing job. The fancy pedicure was wonderful, took 90 minutes and I got great rest. Plus love my nails and toes and I am super picky.

I just moved to the area and was nervous about trying a new place by Nancy was so sweet and paid attention to all of the little details that I am notoriously picky about from the shape to the thickness, I mean just look at the picture! Amazing service and great pricing, this is definitely my new spot!

Jocey Yolanda and Lin are the best! They’re so kind, welcoming, and actually listen to what you want. A lot of places rush through, but they take their time and make sure youre happy. I really appreciate that they actually cut my nails short like I asked—its such a small thing, but it makes a big difference! The whole experience is always relaxing, and they make you feel so comfortable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

lauren sartin I’ve been a loyal customer of this salon for quite some time and have always been happy with the service and results—until my last visit. I went in for NexGen (dip) nails, and unfortunately, my experience this time was very disappointing. After just two days, the tips of my nails started popping off. I went back to have one fixed, but the next day, another one came off in the same spot where the tip had been glued. It was clear that the application was the issue, as it didn’t hurt when they came off. I went in again, hoping for a better result, and asked for a different technician to fix it. However, the nail that was repaired ended up crooked, and after almost a week and a half, nearly all of my nails had popped off. Given that I paid nearly $100 for the service, I was really expecting much better durability. I tried using nail glue to reattach the tips, but that only worked for a couple of days before they came off again. Ultimately, I had to go to another salon to get my nails completely redone. I’ve always had great experiences here in the past, so I’m really hoping this was just an isolated incident, but unfortunately, it’s left me hesitant to return.

Akshita Garg I wasn’t happy with my experience here. I showed a reference picture for the design I wanted and didn’t haggle over the price, but the nail tech worked too quickly and damaged my cuticle. She didn’t apologize and just handed me a nail wipe when I showed her my bleeding finger. On top of that, the design was far from what I expected and definitely not worth the price. On a positive note, the pedicure was fantastic! The technician was friendly and did a great job. Attaching pictures including reference art shared!

Ashlynn Johnson My second time coming to Onyx, very nice atmosphere, staff is friendly, good music. Mia is the nail technician who did my set this time. Stephen Abdul All the folks here are really nice and they are very welcoming. They welcome you practically before you even walk into the door. The salon is very clean and organized. They have multiple full bars and will ensure that you are the most comfortable person here. And if you are the most comfortable, then they ensure that the next person that comes in is even more comfortable. It’s a never-ending positive experience. Oh, and with the full bars, they are not stingy with the pours of liquor. 5 Star

Susan Plazola I got lavender nails at Lavender Nails! This place is my favorite (clean, organized, genuinely kind and friendly). If you enjoy manicures with designs, Hana is exceptional! She can do anything you have in mind. I take good care of my real nails and equally trust Hana as well. The owners are one of a kind. This salon is run like a family business by nice, happy, funny, spirited professionals. Always a great experience @lavendernails.

Latoria Moore I found this establishment searching Google for a new Nail Shop, and boy did I make the right decision. They greeted me as soon as I walked in and got me booked and seated. They were overly busy but asked multiple times if I wanted something to drink and was I okay. They also were super busy and also kept communicating with me about it. They also didnt lead the incoming customers alone and just have them sit there, they explained how they were busy and very nice about rescheduling. Over all this is the best nail bar I have been to since moving to Texas in 2020. The girl next to me told me Sarah and the woman whose name starts with a B ( I cant remember) were the best BUT I had Julia and she DID HER THING! She took her time asked questions and was very nice the entire time. I totally recommend this place, Iol I know Ill be back BUT they are awesome!!

Alex Hardesty I absolutely love this nail salon! Chloe is amazing—she can replicate any photo I show her perfectly, and my nails always turn out flawless. Melissa is just as fantastic; her pedicures are always relaxing, and she pays great attention to detail. The entire team is friendly, professional, and the salon is always clean and welcoming. T. B. Sad about the service but not surprised….. I returned to Lavender Nails after six months and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. When I walked in, a staff member greeted me warmly but seemed surprised to see me, which should’ve been a red flag. I asked for a $42 pedicure, which was the second option on the menu, and waited about 10-15 minutes—no big deal. The woman who did my pedicure seemed rushed, jumping from one client to me. My toenails are uneven in length and shape, and I had to guide her through reshaping them. Despite my efforts, the nails still weren’t uniform, and the polish was thin, uneven, and a bit messy, with some overlap onto my skin. Additionally, the drill caused uneven nail beds. When I spoke to the owner about my concerns months ago I thought this was the most appropriate response since I hadn’t really had a bad experience before but today I was met with a vague “oh, that’s not good” and no real resolution. I even suggested removing the thin polish from their shelves so another customer doesn’t have my same experience with that polish, but the response was just “….could please enter your card.” I’ve been a frequent customer in the past, but after today’s experience, I’m sure I won’t return. this is an affluent area with plenty of clientele so I know patronizing this place or not wont impact their business in the least. It’s just disappointing to see some clients aren’t treated the same.

Toya Ford This was twice in one day. I came in ready and excited. It was my first time here and it is beautiful in the inside. Anyway got in the chair so that (QUINN) could do my nails. When I asked for French tip but with red and pink NO Designs she was like okay okay. Showed a photo and everything She said she got it. So now we at the part to start the French tip and from the looks of it French tips was something she could not do. So I said nvm just paint them all red. Got my toes done also color red.(two different color reds) how I do not know. Okay so I paid and now I’m in the car taking a good look. Unexplainable (you’ll see in the photo) (QUINN) did my red nails. So now I’m back cause I would like them fixed. Man I’m smiling and smiling cause now (Lanay) don’t know her but she was trying and kinda made them look I guess cute some what (yall tell me) but you can literally see my nails bed. Again unexplainable. Now I’m back a three time for my refund and I told them clip cut soak whatever get them off. A guy who lied and said he was Daven ( Daven is a girl) cut/clipped and flied them down. And I got my refund. I’ll post what I wanted and what I got not once but TWICE. Look at the silver line they charged me an extra $15 for (yup) $15. That’s not all When I asked for that &15 back also the guy stated that (Quinn) was poor and she put her sweat into my nails. Nothing about her work says SWEAT. Like I ain’t got 4kids and work hard for my money. Please look at this. The red done by (Quinn) and Lanay(not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly) tried her hardest to recover. Never go here again. Only thing they do good is give you a drink

Kathleen Uzoigwe We had an amazing experience from beginning to end! My mom and I had to get our nails done last minute as we were leaving out of the country the next day. The staff was amazing and took care of us! It was our first time there and I will definitely be a returning customer! Ms. Lilly literally did my nails so perfect I can’t stop staring at them! I showed her a tiktok video and she did it exactly like the example. She is TALENTED! Can’t wait to show off my nails!

Rodriguez Kelly (Kelz) Really disappointed in my visit today. Every toenail came out crooked and I was cut as well. My pedi took about 2 hours and that’s considering I was taken back immediately and started on right away. The tech kept redoing everything over and over again which led to a stressful experience for me. My big toe is very noticeably crooked. I drove 30 minutes to this location but don’t think I’ll be returning

genesis Linda was incredibly kind and professional. The moment I was seated, she got started right away, making me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Her skills were impressive, and she meticulously crafted my nails, paying attention to every detail. The end result was stunning—she absolutely slayed the design, exceeding my expectations.

Lia Speight King Kong helped me. Service was great and quick. I showed him a picture of what I wanted. He suggested something he thought would be better but I stuck with what I wanted and he did a great job. I requested a short set of nails but he insisted I dont go too short, "Need long nails to get honey money!"

Chelle Mack Linda was my pedicure stylist and she did a magnificent job. Her foot massage put me to sleep and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing

Taiesha Jenkins I came in on a Wednesday afternoon and there was no wait. Tina always does my toes and does a great job! Linda did my manicure full set. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she made it look even better! Love this place. Everyone including the clients are all nice and friendly. Service is great. Highly recommended 10/10 !!!!

Miya so prettyy They did an amazing job. Loved Ms.lisa she is so wonderful. She will make sure to get those in grown toenails. I dont go to anyone else but her .The atmosphere is very calm and they are very professional the prices are worth it. Pictures of me and my daughter toes love it ♥️

Mary McCollum I was in from out of town and got my nails done here. I spent $150 in total for pedicure and dip manicure. Within 3 days I had an infection from their dip powder and the nails were falling off. They refused to offer a refund. I would stay away, they were so nice when I was there, but ultimately very disappointed on how they refused to handle and accept responsibility for a terrible outcome.

Grace Croxton Everybody is always so kind & welcoming. I love the calm atmosphere and no one ever makes you feel bad for changing your mind or needing help choosing what will look best (which I’ve dealt with at other nail spas). Everyone is great but Eva is my favorite. She takes her time & is so sweet.

Ana Coria I usually go to Nailed Bar in Dallas, but I wanted to try a new place. I honestly went to Royal Nails based on their reviews. Well, this place is average, I wasn’t even offered water. The lady who did my pedicure was a little rough, I felt she pinched me so hard with the tool that I thought I was bleeding. Well, all that would have been acceptable but what was really disappointing is that my manicure didn’t even last a week, 4 days to be exact, and looks messy made. I don’t recommend this place.

Aswini I got my nails done before a week, actually not even a week And all the colors peeled off, nails started chipping and one finger nail came off completely. I paid around 100$ to get it done. I have never faced issue like this within a week. Waste of time and money
