Miranda Dawn I came in thinking I needed a perm, but Ruby completely saved my curly hair! She is so communicative and truly cares about her clients. Ruby took the time to assess my hair and gave me expert advice on what would work best for me. She’s incredibly helpful and gave me great tips on how to style and maintain my curls. I’m so thankful I found her – she’s amazing!

Natalia Ezquivel I had been looking for a curly hair professional for a long time and am very glad I found Gabriella or Gaby at Bloom! I have been with her two times and will be going to her again in a few weeks before my wedding! Shes very talented, kind and easy to talk to! 100% recommend!

Ashley Warrick Twirl is a great experience all around. Jade has done my hair for years and she is simply the best at what she does! She’s so much fun and super knowledgeable about how to care for my hair so that it stays healthy. Honestly, I trust her to do whatever she thinks best. She always knows! I highly recommend Jade. She also does beautiful makeup! I always feel great when I leave her chair!

Mary Caroline Warrick Jade is absolutely amazing! She did a fantastic job on my haircut and Brazilian blowout—my hair has never looked or felt better. When we arrived, the studio was clean and staff was friendly! My daughter loves her new hair and wants Danni to be her hairstylist from now on. Her work was great and she made my daughter feel comfortable and they talked the entire time. We will definitely book with her again!

Alison Skyles Angel gave me my first haircut in like 3 years including bangs and I loved the cut and the experience, so I just came back for a refresh and left just as happy. Everyone at the salon is friendly and the vibe is really welcoming. They’re transparent about pricing and Angel was really helpful with all my questions and gave me great hair advice on top of great energy and conversation. Now that I’ve had my hair cut here I won’t go three years without a cut again :)

Charlotte Chabrier Fantastic experience! From booking online to the salon vibes, to the front desk, to my stylist, the whole appointment and after was amazing. I highly recommend Victory Salon. Firstly the online consultation form is an incredible idea and Im surprised its not used everywhere, it gives you a chance to put in everything and anything about your hair and goals as well as uploading photos. The vibe and comfort of the salon is also amazing, laid back and friendly. I had Nadia and she made me feel at ease with her friendliness, attention to detail, and welcoming personality. Before starting, she took the time to thoroughly discuss the exact style I wanted, check with me about length and what shed need to do or change, she clarified every detail and made sure we were on the same page. It genuinely felt like she was committed to giving me exactly what I envisioned and she absolutely delivered! It can be rare to find someone who not only listens but also executes flawlessly. Towards the end she also talked me through the products she used and recommended what I could buy and use, because I asked and did need new products, I didnt feel pressured in anyway. Checkout was really easy and front desk (Im sorry I didnt get your name) was lovely! I also felt the prices (which varies by stylist) were extremely reasonable. The end result is perfect! My hair looks and feels incredible. I’ll absolutely be returning to Nadia for future cuts, and I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a stylist who cares about her craft as much as she cares about her clients. Photos to come! Gina Ramos Ive been going to get my hair done at Hair By A Blonde for several months and Atalaya is amazing. I always show her an inspo pic and leave the salon just as the picture inspo I asked for. Feli Aleman I am absolutely in love with the way Jyn cut my hair! Ive had so many bad experiences all over town with other artist not listening and cutting my hair to how ever they wanted. With Jyn it was easy to explain what I wanted she gave me her opinion on what she thought would be best I trusted her and she did absolutely amazing. Madison Castillo Love this place, think I found my new salon! I had a cut with Rori, definitely recommend! The entire place is very cute and super big on making sure you understand how your inspo pics will work with your hair type, and then help you out with some changes, if need be, to love your new hair. Everyone in the salon was super chill overall a laid-back experience vs going to an uppity, snobby salon.

Tara Dee Would recommend Ruby Lamb for color and cuts! She has done both for me twice and revived my dull hair on both occasions; it also feels healthier. I have tried other salons and stylists but no one compares to her level of expertise and quality. You can tell she loves what she does and it shows! The salon environment is also very welcoming and aesthetic, a neat place to get your hair done. Would highly recommend.

Cassidy Klein I had my appointment with Cedar Gray! She was amazing!! Finding a colorist that is experienced and good with blonde hair is hard to find. She took my two pictures of inspiration and did the perfect blend of them! I lost so much hair after having my baby, and due to stress and weight loss. She helped me feel good about my hair again. Highly recommend booking your next appointment with her. This salon was also so cute!! Everywhere you looked there was something unique and beautiful. It was very welcoming and charming. Janice Wong I oftentimes get questions about my hair extensions bc people are surprised that I have them at all, that’s how natural they look! Jeannine has been helping me for years with Great Lengths extensions! She will walk you through the entire process from installation to how to care for them at home. They are the lowest maintenance hair extensions I’ve ever had! Go see Jeannine, you won’t regret your hair transformation!!

Ayden Brown In the past I hadn’t had too great of an experience going to hair salon and never really found one I love so much that I would continue going to. I have been coming to Sarah for months now and I won’t be stopping!!! From the first visit there it was like I had been going there for years. So warm and welcoming and such a fun time getting to know each other. She is an absolute wizard with color and blowouts!!! Every time I am amazed at the craft of the end result. She is always so accommodating of any changes I want to make as well as my services. Always hyping me up and making me feel so confident and beautiful every time I’m there! The salon is also soooo cute and clean which continues to make the experience amazing each and every time as well. You will never regret going to Sarah!!!!

Precinct Chair 3152 Priscilla was great first time here. Very knowledge she explained what would work for my unruly hair. She made my dry lifeless looking hair look bouncy shiny and awesome. Definitely coming back. Great color, toner and cut.

Beth Slone Its a bit pricey. They dont discuss pricing up front, so I always have sticker shock. However, this is one of the best hair salons Ive ever been to. Its worth the price. I would just like to know so I can budget better. I absolutely adore this hair salon.

Judy Nielsen Good haircut and color for reasonable price. Del repaired my color after it was ruined at a very expensive shop by not supervising an assistant. I visited for a free consult about what to do. She gave me excellent advice on the repair process and now my hair is back in good condition and the color is very close to the original. It is worth finding. A friend recommended this family owned shop. It is located on the corner of Potranco and 151 in a little add-on to a large service station area. I was happy to find this neat clean little shop. Del (owner) has been there for 12 years. All the new development & traffic makes it a little hard to find but if what you want is a good haircut and color at a reasonable price it is worth it. I like supporting family owned small businesses. I hope you will give it a try.

Cindy Pinkston I would like to start off by saying the hair stylists and employees at this salon were very pleasant and kind and I enjoyed my time spent there in the chair. The reason why I am only giving 3 stars is because I discussed what I wanted done to my hair weeks prior to the appointment by sending pictures and communicating through text with Lauren. Once it was time for my appointment she was able to pull up a photo I sent to her for reference right before she started to remind her or what is was I wanted done. We then discussed colors and how dark we were going to go. My hair was not colored anything like any of the multiple photos I showed her. For the price I paid and the amount of time she worked on my hair I was very disappointed with this but do not like to complain or react in any negative ways. I have posted my pics first ( best I could get of myself on one and the other she took) and the pictures following are the ones I sent. In non of those pictures is the red/violet on top and the dark on the bottom. Mine looks more like I got lowlights throughout when I wanted the bottom to be red and the top to be all dark. Im not exactly the best at explaining things but the pictures all show exactly what I wanted. The colors she used are perfect just not the way she applied them.

Ally This is long overdue but I went to PURE Beauty Bliss Salon in November and had the opportunity to get my haircut done by Kye. I am new to San Antonio and when I say I hit the jackpot with finding this salon and Kye I mean it 100%. I was 7 months postpartum and my hair needed much attention. Kye was absolutely amazing. 10/10. She brought my hair back to life and gave me the shag of my dreams! I would highly recommend this salon and getting your hair done by Kye. Summer Clark Kye was amazing! She cuts my hair (as well as my husbands) and she does a great job every time. The first time I saw her, she had a great idea about what would look good on me based on my hair type and how much effort I put into it each day, etc. She also had great ideas on color that saved me money! She is very talented with cuts/color and does what is best for her client and not just about selling expensive services/products. So glad I trusted her with my hair - my husband adores her too!

Hannah Baker This was my first time at PURE Beauty Bliss Salon and it was incredible! I saw Marisol who did a phenomenal job giving me the perfect blonde and highlights I wanted. She also filled the appointment with laughter and made me feel comfortable the entire time. She truly was great and is so talented, I highly recommend!!

Cassidy Anderson I came in to Pure Bliss to get my very grown out hair colored. I have always had my hair done by the same stylist, so finding someone new was really intimidating! Thankfully I booked my appointment with Eve Lachowski and I will be going back over and over again!! Eve was honest with me and explained how damaged my hair was due to past treatment. She gave me multiple options and was very open about the damage my hair had and why she was nervous about putting MORE bleach on it right then. Eve recommended extensions, which I had never considered. After answering my millions of questions, I decided to trust her expertise and I could not be happier! Eve placed 18 inch extensions that blend perfectly with my grown out roots. She didn’t put a drop of color on my hair, and I still feel like a brand new woman! Thank you so much, Eve, for caring about my hair health and not just doing what was easiest!

Noah Jenks Monica is a master of her craft! I brought my daughter in for a cut, wash, and style. Monica was so helpful and kind, listening to my daughter and what she was envisioning. Jessica Jordan Horrible customer service. Booked an appointment with her via Styleseat for my daughter on August 10th. At 8 am on August 11th the day of the appointment (which was scheduled for 1 pm) she cancelled and declined the service. That is her right, however, its bad business to not message about why at the very least. I made the appointment for a reason so now I have to rush to find someone else to provide the service at the last minute. If she didnt want to provide the service she should have informed me of this or at least provided a reason. Response to comment below: The individual who sets up the account is in control of the hours of availability listed on there. On the app it states you are open from 1-5 on Sundays. The "app" doesnt control that. You do. Please go change your hours to reflect you are closed instead of open so no one can book an appointment and your problem is solved.

He started my saying who ever cut my hair ruined it, criticizing everything but my hairs health and while cutting my hair felt the need to smoosh his fingers all over my nose, lips, and face. I had just went for a trim and side swept bangs. Which he had no clue what side swept was. And when I told him my hair was uneven he start chopping it up making it even more uneven. So I just stopped him and told him it was good so hed stop cutting he then told me price was 35 which I transferred exact amount to card I was using then it didnt go through he told me I needed to have atleast 50 in my card that was cause he charged me about 50 not the 35 he told me right before I swiped my card. Maybe hes a decent barber but do not trust him with female cuts. Jagged, extremely uneven, didnt blend ends. Dont do it

Lisette Espinoza got my haircut back in August with the guy there, Bobby, haircut was amazing, i loved it; $35, he said come back in 8 weeks or so & mentioned a $10 discount; i come back a little over 8 weeks, got my hair just trimmed by the lady, Mojan, there & was charged more than an actual haircut, $45. there wasn’t much cut to my hair, so i am a little disappointed by this recent visit. not sure to go back there again.

kaley boykin Myrna is as amazing as a person as she is a hair stylist! I desperately needed a haircut and she did a fabulous job-- my hair feels SO healthy and looks so nice! Marina Herrera I first started going to Shereen at pure posh salon about 5 or 6 years ago and all I can say is she’s all around incredible! She has never not once given me exactly what I wanted. Shereen is an expert in all services but if you’re specifically looking for a blonde hair enthusiast I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her!! She just gets it! And also her haircuts!!! She gives the best haircuts in San Antonio! I’ve never gotten more compliments on a cut alone since going to her. She’s so precise with her technique! I cannot recommend her enough!

Ann Omosowofa Based on the reviews I went to this salon. First impression when you enter is "Wow" its a beautiful place with a cheeky vibe! I was greeted right when I entered. The Stylist (Paige) was friendly and asked questions before we started. The whole process and experience with Paige was great! Love the look and I will definitely return to her. And the other person I want to mention is (Chloe) She gives the best massage and I really needed the stress to leave me that day and thanks to Chloe I walked out feeling less stress. Becca Story I have been a client of Claudia before Studio 1030 even opened. Claudia, Vanessa, and Felisa are the sweetest, friendliest, most professional people you will ever meet. They are hard workers and do awesome work. Prices are moderate, but you get what you pay for. They are all well experienced. I dont trust anyone else with my hair. Claudia has done my highlights, touchups, colors, haircuts, hair washing, blow dry & style and waxed my eyebrows. Claudia cut my youngest daughters first haircut when she was 1 year old. Now, my daughter is 25 years old. They are not only friends but become family.

Kimberly Hernandez Great experience! Make sure you call for an appointment. I tried walking in but they are appointment only during this time (due to COVID19). I was able to get seen same day, 1 hour after I made the call. They take great precautions to assure your safety as well as theirs. Staff was kind. My stylist was informative and helped me pick the right cut for my hair type. She had a great hand and great personality. Will definitely be going back for future cuts/trims. Forgot to mention...great price!

Lily Jenson Went into the salon with bleach blonde hair asking for a cooler toned platinum and left with DARK purple hair. The purple faded to a light brown rose color after multiple washes (two weeks after the appointment) and the toner they used gave me an allergic reaction on my ears. I would not recommend this salon especially if you are a blonde. The picture attached was taken a few hours after I got home from the salon.

Farheen Mir Overpriced for the building it’s in . And my hair is falling out now since I went there. I don’t know if I’m sensitive to what she put in it. She colored my hair first and then cut it. I asked her to cut it so she won’t have to use so much color and still insisted to cut at the end. I paid 450$ just for cut color and highlights. She highlighted my hair very well.

Brittany Alvarez I took my 11 year old to get a bob and Any did so good! Super happy with it! She took her time to make sure it was perfect, highly recommend her.

Manisha Pal 9/30/22- had same hair cut again after so long time . Met Brooks. Lovely work ! I had a long hair for donation and I needed a new new look with my new short hair.I decided based on reviews online to go and try Hair Affairs. I am so happy my decision was right . All the staff and my stylist Brooke did a great job . They made me comfortable ,asked me for anything I needed . explained me the process and pricing before hand . Pricing for normal hair cut starts form 45$ ..but trust me its really worth. They shampoo conditioner cut and style .. The staff is professional and they dont disappoint you.Overall I recommend this place .

Caleb Mast I came in for a haircut and full-head platinum blond. The stylist was nice, but a little unprofessional (answering personal phone calls while applying bleach and not taking much time to look at my reference picture to make sure she knew what I wanted). A different stylist also came over and helped my stylist, which I found unprofessional. The end result didnt quite match what I was hoping for in my reference photo. However, the stylist did confirm the shade she was going for with me, so I will give her the benefit of the doubt on that one. Everyone was sweet and its a friendly atmosphere. But I wouldnt recommend it to a friend. Overall, my treatment didnt match the premium price I paid.

Ismael Ornelas Jessica did a great job shes so patient with my 4yr old. Hes scared of the clipper noise but ever since hes been going with her he hasnt cried or gotten scared, she explained everything that she was doing so my son felt at ease.

Aundrea Barrientos No long wait early in the mornings. I took my friend to cut her hair around 10 a.m. we got the second spot in line for her haircut, she understood how much to trim but still being able to put in a pony tail.

Maria Morin I took my daughters and I here for the first and the last time. Im very unhappy I was charged 110.00 for two haircuts had to ask for us to be be styled which was extra and one of my daughters just needed to have her hair styled. These ladies need to stick to cutting mens hair which when we got there it was full of men should of gave me a red flag they would not be up to the job. We didnt get what we asked for and I feel so cheated and taken advantage of never going there again lesson learned.

Angeles W Im so pleased I decided to swing into Presa Street Hair Studio while Im in town! I color my hair emerald green, but my natural color is a medium-dark brown. To complicate things, my hair is extremely thin and frustratingly curly once it dries (knots constantly!). I have two events coming up - a wedding Im attending and a conference I help put on for 1000 people up in Chicago. I really needed to re-color my hair, but since Im traveling I didnt know who to trust. I checked local reviews and found this salon, and popped over to see if they could fit me in. Luckily, Rebecca was free and had time - seems I showed up right before the after-school rush, thankfully! My hair is back to vibrant green, and I didnt have to do it myself! Im thrilled, and once the color settles for a few days Ill shave nothing but body, shine, and curls throughout! (I asked her not to shampoo or condition, since I like to let my hair settle in before doing anything now than rinsing.) Everyone at the salon was kind and pleasant, smiling and chatting with their customers. If I lived here, this would definitely be my go-to salon! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Jen Szary By far- hands down … the very best Stylist in San Antonio & I’ve ever had ! Gaby is truly an amazing stylist and wonderful person. She makes you feel like you’re family and takes her time listening to exactly what you want . Then … works wonders and miracles! I cried tears of JOY after leaving this salon . My hair feels healthy and vibrant and beautiful again . She is my favorite! You have to go see GABY @ secret beauty! You won’t regret it !

Jade Bole Called in and explained my situation, right away I was in Gabys chair and ready to clean up my hair. She worked with me and did an absolutely amazing job. I couldnt be more happy with the results! Definitely a hidden secret and I would recommend this place to anyone. I just want to add… After one year from visiting Gaby at her wonderful salon, she still had my glasses that I left there from a year ago! Now that’s impressive and like always did an amazing job with my hair! Was happy to see I came back and made me feel right at home.

Tanya Marie Do yourself a favor and GO SEE GABY! She is amazing! My hair was a horrible mess and she made it gorgeous. I came in with an idea of the color I wanted amd she was honest about what would need to be done. So, I just decided to put my trust in her about the color AND the hair cut. I didnt even show her the cut I had in mind. I put it all in her hands. She did not disappoint. She cut about 3 inches of dead dry frizzy hair off. When she was done, my cut and color came out so beautiful. Thank you, Gaby. Im looking forward to my Brazilian Blowout.
