BassAckwards Went in for a light trim since I am growing my hair long... I was charged 50.00!! I am a guy, the cut took 15 minutes. I called in to express my concern with the owner and was told I would hear back within 24 hours. That was 3 weeks ago, guess I wont be hearing back. If you dont like cutting mens hair then just say so. I am moving on... The "stylist" said she was married to the owners son...sad

James Maggies is the best and Vicki and Stephanie are amazing. They have been cutting my boys hair for the longest and it is not only a quality cut but a family atmosphere

Crystal Mateer Blanca was great in suite 102! we share the same birthday! She was thorough and quick but not rushed. Was able to get my hair washed, cut, and styled on my lunch break. Def coming back.

John Alam I had a very disappointing experience with Salon Loft in Georgetown, specifically Suite 201. I had to wait for a long time, which felt very unprofessional. Despite calling multiple times, I received no response. When I finally went to the salon, the stylist wasnt available. I tried again the next day, but there was still no response. Overall, this experience was frustrating and unprofessional.

Christopher Henderson Fantastic service! Grace Barker cuts my hair every time and its perfect! They have these nice private rooms for you to get your hair styled and washed! Great rates for the experience she provides! Professional and always delivers!

Laura Thomas Vinia got me a last minute appointment for haircut, low lights and highlights. I have thick shoulder length hair and usually takes 2-3 hours. She transformed my hair in under 2 hours and looks incredible!! Plus wash cut and styled my daughters long hair while I was processing. Very impressed and think Ive found my new hair place!! Kim Wooten I have known Adalee Henry for six years as she graduated from the school that I work at when you have to talk in front of someone that you know it’s a little harder because you take things for granted that they know things today I went to the salon and I got my hair colored. It was a very amazing experience. She explained everything like I was a first time client And like I didn’t know anything about the school. She was very professional and very courteous to my feelings, as to if things were OK I would definitely go back to the school to get my hair done again. She did an amazing job

Katie Ayers Alexis D. gave my girls the BEST haircuts and a wonderful salon experience! Their last hair cut at Cost Cutters left their hair with an awful shape and weird face framing. Alexis fixed it and gave them their best haircuts to date! The kids had such a fun experience and Alexis even put my 3-yr old in the chair and "cut" her hair just so she didnt feel left out. We will definitely go to Alexis for our future haircuts!

Katrina Hankins Bummed to be writing this review but wanted to explain my low rating and why I won’t be coming back, even if a correction is offered: I’ve had a great experience with Jennifer before but this time around I wanted to try another stylist who had more availability options. I booked with Bella on 3/7 for a cut and all over color and had a mixed experience. She did a great job explaining the considerations of the hair inspo I showed her, and provided a great alternative solution in lieu of the scheduled all over color. However, things went south short after that. Two primary asks for the service were: 1.) grey hair coverage and 2.) a haircut around chest length but preferably on the longer side. I feel like both weren’t executed properly. The color itself is great, but when I washed my hair the next day and pulled my hair back, I found a considerable amount of greys. Slight bummer considering the cost. It was the haircut that was really upsetting. I scheduled *both* services with Bella and while she did the dry cut, she then sent me over to Kaylee to touch up the dry cut after my hair was washed. I didn’t notice until I left the salon since they curled/styled my hair, but after washing my hair, I found a noticeable lopsidedness to my hair and it was 2 inches shorter than I was actually comfortable with. The dry cut Bella did looked better and was the actual length I wanted. I called the salon and the front desk told me to email the salon, but did nothing to try to help me get on the schedule to book a touch up appointment. By no means was anyone rude, it was just baffling how unhelpful they were even when I went by to the salon today to talk about it in person. I get the decision falls on the manager to decide how to take corrective action and that the salon was fully booked today so I couldn’t be seen until possibly next week, but a bit more willingness to listen would’ve been appreciated. She just said to email the manager and that theyd “get back to me”. It’s not fun being left in suspense after spending $300. At this point, I’m not comfortable coming back for a correction even if offered for all the reasons stated above; I don’t want to risk losing another few inches of hair / I’ve found another salon instead. If you’ve found a stylist you like at Razmataz, great! But for me, unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the right fit.

Kelly Hoenig Cara took a lot time consulting with me prior to cut. She put a lot of effort in to making sure understood my vision and even pulled up her own pics for inspiration. She did a great job and cut came out just as I had imagined! Highly recommend.

Ashlie Manhart Amanda is the best of the best! Perfect haircut and color. Pictures are from 2 different times both the end results. She is amazing and I trust her to make my hair gorgeous every time. I would highly recommend her! She also does the BEST acrylic nails and pedicures!

Taylor Tatsch I love Rumors Salon! Gina has been doing my hair for 28 years now & it always looks so amazing & Kelly waxes my eyebrows & she does such a great job! They are both very patient with me & are both very knowledgeable about coloring & styling my hair. I always leave the salon feeling like a superstar. The shop is always well maintained & cleaned nicely. The atmosphere is always positive & upbeat!

Tiffany Rodriguez My 17 year old daughter, had been saving up her money to get a balayage done on her hair. She found this salon on google and saw that it has a 4.8 star rating, so she called and asked questions and let them know what she wanting and they told her that they would put her with their balayage specialist, McKenzie, so she went ahead and booked her appt. Now the girl who did her hair was super sweet and my daughter really liked her, however, that has nothing to do with her ability to do hair… I’m not convinced that she’s ever done a balayage in her life, let alone be labeled a “specialist”! It took her 5 hours just to ruin my daughters hair! I hate to be rude and I hate to leave a bad review like this, but I am not happy! My baby worked hard to save her money up, just to end up bawling the entire way home, because this girl JACKED her hair up!! I did my own research the next day and thankfully, was able to find someone who could get her in and in just 2 hours fix what had been done, and now thank God her hair looks amazing, but there went another $200 of her hard earned money on something that should’ve been done right the first time. Absolutely makes no sense to me how something like this could happen and even worse how she could still get charged for this disaster of a situation. I 100% would not recommend this salon. I’m very sorry. I’ve attached photos please see for yourself just how badly this turned out.

A S Tiffany Smith-Fullerton gave me a great curly cut! She asked about the products I used and how I styled my hair. Then she took a lot of care in how she cut my hair with my existing curl patterns. The salon itself was very spacious, bright, and super clean. I highly recommend Tiffany & Rumors Salon!

Courtney Olson Nikki continues to be the best stylist Ive been fortunate enough to find, and Im picky! She asks questions and discusses her clients needs and interests to ensure a good and healthy experience. That being said, she also maintains honesty with her clients about what will work and what wont according to a persons hair type, color, skin tone, sensitivities, frequency and type of hair care, etc. She books up quickly, but its because shes worth it.

Mary Beth Bayes Nikki does such a great job on my hair! She suggested a style that would look good on me when I was ready for a change. She colors my hair so well that it looks completely natural. Friendly and easy to spend a couple of hours with. Highly recommend!

Elizabeth Painter Nikki gave me the best haircut I have ever had. I absolutely love my cut. Not only was it wonderful to see my stylist enjoying the process with confidence, it was also wonderful to talk with her. It felt like I was chatting with my sister. Im looking forward to going back.

Tanya Broughman My husband and I found Ricki Nicole at a different location and have followed her to this spot. I really love the way she cuts both mine and my husbands hair. This new building makes your experience much more intimate and relaxing. So happy that you are our stylist.

Kelli Ringeisen Rebecca is THE BEST!!! I had her as my stylist for years in MN and she was seriously the best stylist I have ever had. When I would go to my appointments with Rebecca, she would always know what to do and how to make me look beautiful! She always listened to my wants and concerns to make sure I was happy with my hair. I miss having her color my hair because I completely trusted her with my hair. She does amazing color and cuts! Book with Rebecca- you won’t regret it!

Greta Hendrix I had the MOST AMAZING EXPENSIVE with Hailey! She was so open minded and kind and so eager to please me with the hairstyle I wanted. A very clean environment with amazing women in here. Shelby Baggett Before going to Grow, I had not consistently gotten my hair done in years. I have now been to Beth multiple times and am so happy and impressed with my results every appointment. Beth makes a true effort to make her clients comfortable and truly listen to what they want. She is such a warm and fun person to be around and I absolutely enjoy and look forward to every appointment with her and catching up on each others lives. TaT Raven I’ve been going to Grow Salon since I moved to Texas and it is such an amazing place to go. Always welcoming and kind. And the decorations inside are always on point. I see Lauren and she is so wonderful! She’s ready to talk through every hair idea I have and always gives amazing results. She’s also helped teach me styling tips and I learned what products to use in my hair to style it the way I want which has always been a struggle for me. I will always go back to her! My hair currently is my favorite I’ve ever had it!!!

Abram Miller Sign says walk ins welcome. They arent. I walked in and waited for an hour for someone to talk to me. Several stylists walked right by me, no one said anything until I asked someone leaving if anyone was still cutting hair. Only to have someone come tell me that they had a full day and I should have made an appointment. Wouldnt be so bad if someone had just told me instead of letting me sit there like an idiot. I didnt come in super late either I was there by 2:30 it is 3:50 as I write this and the staff is pulling away. In the full hour I was there I saw 3 stylists leave and only one customer. So I guess they dont need much business and are far too busy for you. Make an appointment, I guess thats the only way they will see you even when the store is deserted.

Jay Newman Julie cut my hair for years when I lived in Georgetown. Always sweet, outgoing, kind and gives the best haircut. I moved away in 2012. Today I called to make an appointment with Julie and catch up with her. Unfortunately, a rude and obnoxious employee answered the phone. She ignored my questions and refused to allow me to speak to Julie. Much less make an appointment. She called me honey and dear which was rude and condescending. I guess time changes all things. Julie, if you hire rude people to answer your phone, they become the voice of your business to the public and that is not a good thing.

L. Parks I love Julie she never messes up my hair! It’s hard to find people that can cut your hair the way you ask them to. Her employee is so sweet I don’t mind being called dear or honey. She’s always professional and attentive. I’ll always go to Julie as long as her employee is there too.

Margaret Block I have been going to Julie for many years, but because of Covid I had not had a haircut for over a year. I just got a fantastic hair cut! Julie did a great job as usual and I have received lots of compliments. I should not have been concerned about going to the salon but being in a high risk group I was concerned. They are very careful and follow all protocols I have seen.

I found Just Your Style on line so I had to hope for the best. Tracy had many great reviews and I was lucky enough to have an appointment with her. She is wonderful!!!! Nickole Sarles I am so thankful for this salon and Tawny. I was able to find trust in a stylist again and to feel comfortable in the overall setting of a salon is very important also. I’m a super attentive person and notice my surroundings constantly. The last salon I tried was good until it wasn’t. I didn’t feel comfortable there anymore, just felt like the stylist would constantly talk badly about clients for no reason. It always left me saying, “what do they say about me?” I had to find someone I could trust and a salon I felt comfortable in. Bex+Co has been a blessing. Tawny listened to me and gave me EXACTLY what I asked for. It was better than what I asked for honestly. She took her time, did not rush through our appointment and she helped fellow co-workers out also by helping them clean up or with clients if needed. That girl is definitely an invaluable person at your salon. She is a team player while also handling her own and flawlessly. She kept a smile on the entire time. I have officially found my salon. I was so happy with my hair today that I actually cried. I haven’t let anyone put dye or highlights to my hair in close to a decade, because I honestly just have loved my hair color, but also because it’s been so hard to find someone I can fully trust. Thank you to such a professional team of women and Tawny. It’s nice to just actually relax at a salon.

Lorena Sanchez I want to sing hair stylist Jennas praises. I am a new client and new to Georgetown. You all know it is so hard to find a good hair stylist and I searched for the past 1 1/2 for one. I did not care how far I would drive but I wanted a good stylist that had it all- skills, personality, prices, location, and just someone you look forward to seeing. Well, luckily she found me. Thank God for social media platforms ie LinkedIn and IG. I went to my first consultation and I was so pleased. Jenna hit all the marks. And to top it off, she is so genuine, kind and you can can tell within the first 30 min she is an expert in her field. She listens to your needs. I will for sure go back and be a regular client of her. I highly recommend giving her a chance and be lucky to sit in her chair. I will be going back for my roots, highlights and cuts. Thank you Jenna for a great experience and the icing on the cake is she is only 10 min away from me. Yay!!!

She took her time and listened to everything I wanted and gave me advice on how to maintain healthier hair and she has very reasonable prices for her services. I will definitely keep going here and anyone that needs a good haircut go to Sue. She even does eyebrow threading!!

Sabrina Barksdale Sue has done my eyebrows for two years and I would never go anywhere else! Not only is her waxing and threading amazing & always perfect but she goes out of her way to use sensitive products on me because my skin is very sensitive. Moe and Sue are incredibly sweet people and truly connect with their customers on a personal level and provide a wonderful customer service experience to every person that walks through their door.

Kimberly Garner I read ALL the reviews, but to me the bad ones seems sketchy and not really something I would be bothered by. I’m pretty low maintenance, not a pre Madonna at all and just wanted a basic wash, shampoo, cut/ style. It was my first time here, booking was pretty flexible which I appreciated. When I arrived, Vi washed my hair and I went to Lisa for my cut. Both were very sweet ladies. Lisa kept up a conversation, but I have auditory issues so find it hard to hear with other noises/ talking etc. while I was there, I witnessed two males coming in for a cut, and a lady finishing a perm and getting a cut / style. Lisa and Vi traded back and fourth to balance the customers. I witnessed the chairs being sanitized in between customers, hand sanitizing in between customers and hair being swept up between customers. Lisa asked me what I wanted, and aside from keeping the length and trimming the dead, I always say dealers choice because I didn’t go to school for this. As a professional, they’re able to frame your face and tell you what may look good or not. In fact, I did inquire about a different service at the end of mine for future and she said she didn’t think it would be a good fit for me, which I appreciate. I think the prices were set fairly and would go back again. While the lady who had the perm was getting her hair styled, I watched Lisa from the chair next to her, rotated so I was facing the back of the perm customer, check the hair at each level of styling and trim here and there as needed. The end result looked good to me, that customer seemed pleased. I was pleased with mine. She gave me layers and my hair looks great and healthy!

Heather Jameyson Stephanie’s Salon is an awesome locally owned business here in Georgetown. Stephanie and her staff offer a variety of services in the salon, which is always very clean and relaxing. My favorite thing about getting a pedicure there is that I know how sanitary it is. The copper basins are cleaned between each customer. Pedicures also include an amazing feet/leg massage that does wonders for me since I spend hours standing at work. If you’re looking for a great place to get a pedicure, look no further, Stephanie is your girl!

Rayne I had an unfortunate run in with the owner of the salon. I was driving through the one-way alley that runs behind the business after dropping my daughter at work as there wasnt another way to exit into the parking lot that wasnt blocked. Stephanie was outside chatting with someone and told me to back up the entire length of the alley since her vehicle was parked the wrong way in the fire lane completely blocking the way and she went back inside. I knocked on the door and asked her to move the vehicle. She refused and I told her I would need to report her illegally parked car as I was uncomfortable backing up that far and around a corner. She proceeded to yell and curse at me, dropping f bombs and telling me how much she pays for rent. When she finally moved her van I waved and said thank you. She flipped me off. Very unprofessional not to mention just downright rude.

DJ Holley First time I went to Posh Salon and Elizabeth Morgan was the person to take care of my needs. LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I have not been to a salon in years and, Elizabeth was wonderful she listened and ask all the right questions, although I had no idea what I really wanted, the finished was more than I expected. David Chavez Beware. I got a terrible uneven haircut from Nicole who filled in for Lindsey. I had scheduled with Lindsey but she left for Thanksgiving and she passed me to Nicole. No worries I never had been to Lindsey. I go there and Nicole thought so highly of herself she charged me $47.50 for a guys cut. I gave her $60 because I believe in taking care of the people who take care of me. A week later I notice my hair is really uneven. UNBELIEVABLE! Terrible haircut. I had to go to another person to fix the poor job from Nicole. Be careful!

Bonny Benjamin Natalee Walker is the curl master! I have naturally curly hair and have never once left an appointment in my life feeling as satisfied as I did today. She is very knowledgeable and thoughtful and has superior skills unlike I’ve ever seen.

Christina Baier I went in for a cut/color last week with Jada and she really listened to what I wanted and brought it to life. I wanted to go back to my natural color after growing my blonde out, and she nailed it. My hair feels so much healthier now and looks so natural. Already scheduled my next appointment!

Debbra Pearcy At my second visit my hair dresser asked for my feedback. I liked her the first time. She was good to ask for my honest feedback. When I tried to tell her what I didnt like she told me I was wrong and not communicating well. I had taken the same picture I took the first time for her to use as a guide.. It was a cut I have worn for years. I asked her to please stop cutting. She then dumped all the hair off the cape on my blouse front and back. It was a lot of hair. It is not a bad cut. It is just a very masculine cut and not flattering for me. She said I didnt let her use product. I had told her I didnt use very much product. Parking there is also impossible. Not going back. Cant recommend.

Victoria Alanna I highly do not recommend this salon. I have had blue hair for the longest. It is a solid blue from root to tip. I asked her to retouch my roots. I left very unsatisfied. She didn’t not give me a mirror to see the back and I see why. I contacted her numerous times, called her 3 times sent pics and was never contacted back. My hair is green now, and the back doesn’t even looked bleached at all. I was charged $400 for this service and now I will be paying more out of pocket for a color correction. Please save yourself the hassle and go to another salon!

Cabéan-Grant LaToya (Nyree) First I would like to discredit the 1 star review saying salon doesnt do black people hair. I have been going to Jen since 2014 and was just there yesterday. And she always does my hair great! As a matter of fact she is the only one I trust with my color and cuts. I live in GA and travel to texas just so she can do it. So I dont think I would do that if she wont do black people hair. Lady must have called the wrong salon, because no one there would have spoke to her on the phone in such a rude way. Thank you Jen for never disappointing me with my hair choices. I added pics for proof.

Rachel Jacobs I would like to take a moment to discredit the 1 star reviews posted today. I was in the salon and had an appointment at the same time as the fellow customer (oh yes, there are two reviews because I’m guessing she got her husband to post a review even though he didn’t even come in). My hair already had color in it when this customer came in, 20 minutes late for her appointment and demanded to have her full service, despite not even calling to say she would be 20 minutes late for a 1 hour time slot. She was disrespectful by not communicating she was running late, and then tried to argue as to why she deserved to push the stylists whole day behind. I have been a client of Jen’s for over 3 years now and willingly pay for an amazing experience and the best hair color I’ve ever had. To accuse her of paying people for good reviews just further discredits the opinions of those who cannot respect a hard working individual or the business that has been built from it. Service businesses have cancellation and late-show policies for a reason. And you wouldn’t dare argue with a doctor if you showed up 20 minutes late, so the fact that you would argue with another professional with the same policies shows your disrespect for the profession. Amp’Diva is not just a salon I go to. I’m not just a client. Jen knows me personally and knows all of her clients just the same. When you come to Amp’Diva you join their family and are treated with service that is beyond excellent. I will never let someone else touch my hair.

Lili Brinkley Absolutely 10/10 experience for me! I found the salon through a Groupon deal. It was easy to call and book the appointment. I got sent an email a few days before the appointment to confirm it (simply click on a link). I went for just a haircut, and its exactly what I wanted: All my split ends are gone without losing much of my length, and my hair falls perfectly without additional styling. Jennifer was very friendly and kind, she offered me coffee and we had nice chats. Would definitely recommend it!

Alexa Skye AVOID THIS SALON!!! I came to Jenn in need of hair extensions. She sold me what she described as part synthetic part human hair. 1 week and $1,400 later this is what the "hair" looked like. I had to get my mom to take it off and I just want this to never happen to anyone else ever again. This hair is 100% trash and belongs on an Halloween costume wig.
