Monica Miessler By far the BEST experience Ive ever had with getting my sons hair cut. My son hates haircuts let alone dealing with new people. Margie not only did an amazing job on my sons hair but she was extremely patient and so friendly. I will ALWAYS take my son here from now on. I cant express how happy I am!

Rhonda Seifert Margies is a great place to get a good hair cut. She and the other hair dresser are very nice also. If you have a chance and need a good hair or coloring give Margies a call they will treat you right. Margies has good prices and they want rip you off like other places will. Give them a call and enjoy your time there and the company.

Amanda I have never let someone I didnt know highlight my hair, but Brittni did amazing! Cut my damaged ends but still kept the length like I requested. Didnt even know that she cut it but it looked and felt so much healthier afterwards. She knew what I was asking for without me being the best at explaining my idea for what I was wanting in my hair. Not only that but she was really easy to talk to and it felt like talking with a friend Id known for years and we only just met today! Will be returning for all my hair needs in the future!

Candace Hightower My first visit with this amazing woman was nothing shy of a wonderful experience. She listened to my concerns help me decide a hair coloring route and made me feel confident in my decisions. She took my ragged hair and transformed it into something more. I was scared about cutting off over half my hair but she shaped it and made it form to my features. She will be my go to from here on out. She’s honest and thorough, she knows what’s she’s doing and doesn’t try to charge you an arm & leg for a perfect style. Thank you Brittni

Jane Doe The WORST hair experience I have ever had. I have very long hair and was going in just looking for a good trim - asking for about 4 inches off. I made it very clear to Rhonda that I wanted to keep the length and I even showed her a reference picture with the long layering I was asking for. She then preceded to carelessly chop off about 8-10 inches of my hair leaving it completely uneven and choppy, and then had the nerve to ask me “if I was going to miss the length?”. I was so shocked and upset I had to leave the salon for a minute to calm down. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Do not let this woman touch your hair. It will take me years to grow back the hair that she so carelessly decided to cut and even after all of this I had to go somewhere else to try to fix the mess she made.

Judy Sears Rhonda has become my hair stylist. She is now the only one to cut my hair. All I have to do is sit down, and Rhonda goes to work. She has perfected cutting my hair without direction or comment. Friendly, understanding and professional, thats Rhonda! Thanks!

S. Katy (Wedding Photographer) Dawn is an amazing hairdresser, she’s sweet, kind and truly understood what I wanted and gave me exactly it. She cut my mom and my sisters hair and they were in love with their hair. We will keep going to her from now on. She is worth much more than she is charging. You need to get your hair done with her!

Polly Barban Dawn is wonderful. She asks about your lifestyle and what looks you like so you get the best style that fits you and your hair type. You can tell she loves what she does. Not only do you get a fabulous haircut, color and style, but also a variety of useful information. She gave me great recipes, tips on taking care of plants, what good TV shows to binge and lots more.

Christina Salazar Chris is absolutely magic! I had a very thorough consultation and he truly exceeded my expectations and helped me ensure my hair stays as healthy as possible. I am so lucky to have found my forever hairdresser!! Honestly I’d give 10 stars if I could!!

The price was also extremely reasonable especially in comparison to Austin prices!

Since then I have done everything from my lashes to a facial to tanning! I love her work and I love her too! She has become not only my lash girl but also a friend! I’m a loyal customer and make sure I go see her every 2 weeks for my lash girl and once a month for my brow wax!

Lorena Buckner I started seeing Sarahi for lash extensions almost three months ago and I’m blown away by her talent! She’s very light on her technique and great at what she does. Alison Smiley Ramble on is absolutely beautiful and I can’t recommend them highly enough, they are exactly what Bastrop needed! Buffy was immediately warm and welcoming. She gave an amazing shampoo and included some aromatherapy essential oils. She did a perfect blunt bob and was so professional and easy to talk to. Jen is a beautiful person as well, you are in great hands with either of these wonderful women. I am so glad to have such a high quality salon in bastrop and would definitely recommend their services!

Theresa Peery Such a great place. I saw Megan and had a two color full foil. She did such a great job! She was fun to chat with and had me cracking up. The building is a beautiful old craftsman style house that has been convertered, very thoughtfully, into a really inviting, peaceful, and charming in the best ways salon and spa. I would highly recommend them. My only small complaint/critique is that they need a much more visible sign. The salon is set back off of the road and the front and near the driveway have some bushes that partially obscure the small and hard to see/read from the road. I passed it and had to turn around and drive really slowly to find it on my second pass. So when going there it is on the North side of the road. (The highway runs east and west) and has a small maroon sign. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Chantal-Marie Grinstead I’ve received countless facials and waxing from Rose and my skin has seen so much improvement since! Rose is knowledgeable and skilled at what she does and after chatting with her for a single 30/60 minute appointment, you’ll leave wishing she was your best friend— guarantee it. A side note: I’ve tried two skincare brands that Rose carries (Hale & Hush and Skinscript) and they’re both amazing and I am OBSESSED. She also carries amazing candles, jewelry, and even cute socks! Also, I used Alan the last hair service I had (cut, color, style) and got *so* many compliments! I’ll attach a photo of my skin with minimal makeup and one of my hair right after my service with Alan (though the lighting on that one doesn’t do the color justice) ☺️ Salon Arcanum is a clean, professional, and well-priced beauty service salon. As a plus, the aesthetic here is freaking CUTE. Schedule your next service here and you won’t be disappointed!

Michelle Smith I recently called Mel with Call for Beauty to have my hair and makeup done for my 30yr anniversary and vow renewal. Mel was so wonderful and my hair and makeup was way beyond what I could have dreamed of. My appointment was set around noon. The vow renewal was at 6pm. My make up held up all afternoon and well into the night. My hair never fell and my curls stayed in my hair, which is a hard thing to do. Mel made magic happen for my special day and I highly recommend her for any special event anyone may have. I will be using her again.

amberley palmer Had my first facial today with Mel. She is very knowledgeable about your skin and makes recommendations based on what areas you would like to see results in. I have sensitive skin and did not have any sensitivity issues. Found it to be a good stress release.

Cherie Wood Worst haircut and hair coloring in my 63 years. My natural color is light brown, not black. The cut and blow dry was horrible. I couldnt believe she was going to let me walk out like that. I immediately went home and washed and dried my hair to an appropriate style. Maybe I caught her on a bad day, she did say she was up doing laundry all hours of the night. No, I would not recommend this place to anyone. REFUND MY MONEY - - - THAT WOULD MAKE ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF, AND DONT BE DOING LAUNDRY THROUGH THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING.

Chris was so friendly, made me feel welcome and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing. He took me through every step and made sure I was comfortable during the process. If you’re looking for someone who does great work and is super easy to talk to, Chris is the person to go to! Like I said in the beginning, best cut and color I’ve gotten, left me feeling beautiful and with a big a smile because of his amazing service!

Carlyle Scott Welcomed addition to Bastrop! Lumiere House is lovely and loved sitting with Chris. He was friendly and personable and gave me a great (much needed!) cut. This is worth the drive if you’re coming from Austin. Looking forward to next time.
