Monica F I’ve been here a few times already and I love Chelsea! She does great waxing and eyelash lift and tints, was super happy with my results. Not to mention their amazing offers every month. I will continue to go here and support our local businesses.

Howtex Howard I’ve gone to the Tan and Body Spa for years. I love their online booking option... it’s so convenient! The staff is always friendly and helpful when I want to tan. Katy cuts my family’s hair and always gives us just what we want. I love Pamela’s services... the facials are divine and I always see her for my waxing needs. The wax she uses doesn’t make me break out and isn’t painful. When I need a little self care, the Tan and Body Spa makes it easy and enjoyable!

Tessa H I have been going to Venus Tan & Body Spa for a decade! Michelle has always been incredible at listening to my concerns and making me look/feel fabulous! She’s honest, and will tell you when you don’t need something done. She’s great about squeezing you in, even though she has a crazy busy schedule. Plus, her staff is amazing! Always greeted with friendly smiles and faces when you walk through the door.

Donna Boe OMG Carley did and amazing job with my facial she understood what I was looking to get out of it and hit it on point! Very relaxing and great company as she was doing the service. My face looks and feels amazing highly recommend!!!!! Can’t say it enough she made this experience perfect!!!!

Melodie Neighbors Been here two times already with me and my daughter they do great work and when my daughter broke her nail they helped her fix it in seconds. Line can be long but it’s due to how much they try to put into detail.

Y.A. Garcia she is the best no one is going to do the manicure and pedicure better than her or she forgot the eyebrows she is the best very kind and is always in good spirits.

Victoria Almeda I asked for a deluxe pedicure I sure was charged the price of one but the service I received had to have been the regular they didn’t even remove my calluses. And the male who attended me turned off the massage chair while I had it in use. They did not turn it on either so I guess that’s an extra charge. Will not be back. Save your time and money if you want a good pedicure go elsewhere

Kayla E I went in and told them I wanted one manicure and my daughter just wanted her nails painted . I told them twice she only wanted her nails painted and he said okay. He did her nails and the wife did mine.at the end of the service she charged me for a manicure for my daughter and I told her that’s not what I asked for, she said sorry but I still had to pay. I asked my daughter did he massage your hands and arms bc that is what I’m use to at natural nails and she said no. So I told the lady and she said yes he did and my daughter said no and the man said yes I massaged her finger tips! So I had to pay for the manicure when it wasn’t even a full manicure, he didn’t do anything to her cuticles either. Basically did gel polish. My white tip on my nails are not even.

Melissa Monsivais Im not a regular here, but I will be. This place is literally half the price for a mani and pedi compared to where I usually go. The gel colors are much more limited here than where I normally go but for half the price cant argue with that. Plus, I actually really like how these are done. The staff was friendly and I came in early for my appointment but they helped me right away anyway. Will be coming back.

Sherri Doerr I absolutely love this place. Everyone is amazing! If you have to wait, it is well worth it! Been coming for 5 years now. No one can compare! Lisa is amazing at doing my hands. Pedicures are rotated by all the staff and I have no complaints!

Omega Castillo Bondoc Got my eyebrows tattooed by Pam. Very happy with the results. Pleased with the shade and shape. She explained everything well and a very sweet lady. Will go back to her again. Also got my nails done by Victor. Happy with his work. Definitely returning to this place.

Preseus Hernandez My first time being there! One guy was nice,but the person who did my nails wasn’t the greatest didn’t talk to me at all no menu showing or anything just straight to it. My nails are a bit bumpy. Everything was rushed going fast and not taking time to make it look nice I wanted a French tip black and it’s crooked overall if no one noticed it would look nice but if people wanna see to compliment it’s a little embarrassing. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. The price wasn’t worth it at all

autumn parkinson I came here to get my nails done and one of my friends nails done the nails did my nails I didn’t catch your name cut my fingers one who did my toes also cut me and they didn’t do very good job with the acrylic so I’m very disappointed and I’m now weak into having my nails done and the paint on my acrylics are completely chipping cracking and coming off completely. I will not be going back. Not satisfied whatsoever that’s why I’m leaving a one star

Holly Wrinkle Lisa and Rosie are my girls! Lisa is a very talented nail tech, designing her own styles and techniques - she always does such an amazing job on my nails! And my Rosie! She is so sweet and always smiles and asks how I am. Her pedicures are thorough and amazing. She gives a mean massage and never skips corners. I love this place and recommend it to everyone.

Nikki De La Garza Diane, Teresa and Kim did an awesome job and were really nice. Each lady took their time to ensure my nails looked good and I was a happy customer. I will be going back!

Frances Baker Got my nails done I asked for coffin and what I got was basically tapered square. It normally cost 35 to $45, but they charged $60. And I did give a $10 tip just to be nice. And even the manager asked what did you do?And the lady had said coffin and she just said oh sixty. I dont know for me personally.They were okay , but not what I had expected.

Leslie Krause I believe all business should get a 2nd chance. 1st time i went i had a younger girl do them. Looked nice.. 2 days later. I have total redness around the pinkey nail. Took the nail off. I had a large hole under the nail with greenish liquid coming out. Saw my dr. ) dealing with cancer and lymphedema so i dont take chances) she gave me antibiotics and said that was awful. So second trip...the owner who says they have been there 15 years dors my nails. I had a color that 10 of us were using/ for a wedding. She kept trying to make us a gel or dip. I had dip on the set of nails from the set getting done.. she did not TAKE THE DIP COLOR OFF JUST USED MY REGULAR POLISH OVER THE DIP NAILS. She filed them to what i though was just what i had... no i went from a square/round to oval.. she also cleaned the underneath so i had no more of my natural nail. I had asked about the should massage she said it was a dollar a minute. I said that sounded wonderful and could definitely use 15-20 minutes...so nails and massage would of put me 75$$ish. After finishing my nails ( thought this would give my nails a chance to dry more. Again this is the owner. Took me to the dryer machine and said " you payin front i thought she was going to get stuff for my shoulders... nope she walked off amd staryed playimg on her phone. so $40.00 later7 for a tip.. $47 in total. i had nails... i had heard they give a tube of lotion to each customer for the holidays..... watched her give out 3 tubes to othe customers... i guess i did not spend enough for the lotion christmas... had the event. The next day. One nail lifted that night.tried to patch it. The next morning i got to looking and and 3 lifted.. i went elsewhere and the fixed the set. So that was there secong chance. I did not experience the friendly...

Mitchel Steffen I waited for someone to give me a pedicure for an hour without anyone asking me if I wanted anything or telling me how long it would be. I finally started to get helped and it was very periodic, he would do something and then walk away, then he would come back then walk away. The final straw for me was after he put a scrub on my legs to wash it off he put my feet in the water in the picture below and turned on the water as hot as he could and held my feet under it even though I kept pulling my feet out of it. He then started to put my feet in wax and walked away after he did one foot. I sat there for almost 6 minutes until I had to ask out loud if someone could put my other foot in the wax. By the time he came back for it the wax was half dry and cold. I told him to take it all off and that I was done. My Mother’s Day gift and only time I didn’t have with my son was completely ruined. I went in for a manicure and pedicure and I left in the middle of an awful half done pedicure that I had to pay full price for and still didn’t get my nails done. I will never go back and make sure everyone knows how awful it was! Thank you for nothing and charging me full price!!

Alys Dobbins Fleur Super nice people but unfortunately sub par products. I got a gel manicure that lasted only 4 days before it started peeling off. To their credit they corrected it on the 2 fingers (as opposed to offering to do it over) but here I am a few days later and it has come off on several nails. That shouldn’t happen for 2 weeks. Also I got a regular pedi and was assured a matching color. Clearly there was color blindness there. I didn’t notice til later. I won’t be returning.

Sofia Ellen Good little place to go when you want your nails done quick. Always happy to help you choose a design or provide ideas. Only place where the staff do actually engage in a conversation with you. Happy all round :)

Rachel Schramm Took my daughter for pedi and nails for prom. I got pedi too. She went to the nail station while I was still getting my toes done so I didnt know what was going on with her. She had never had nails before. She showed the tech a picture of what she wanted. Instead of just giving her tips and painting them he color she showed him, he did a full set of solar gel nails. $55 plus more for "nail art". I tried to argue it when we went to pay but they wouldnt lower the price. Now 5 days later, they are cracked and falling off. Never again will we go there.

Lori Garriott Was greated at the door. Very nice service however the actual nails became dull after less than a day. The manicurist cut my nails too short and didnt fix the problem. Over all the price was too much. 35$ for a fill. Will not return here.

Lily Got my nails done here and all the employees are very nice but my nails came out crooked. I had asked her to fix a couple that day but was kind of bothered that I kept having to ask so I just went with it. It was so bad even my husband noticed so I went back the next day to get them “fixed” and literally all they did was take a nail file and file it down a little bit they didn’t do anything to actually fix them and didn’t even bother to reapply any polish or clear coat. This is ridiculous, awful service and 10 out of 10 do not recommend them to anyone and I will not be back. Do not use Tina.

Carolina Balti Should of read the comments before coming here. Had shellac French manicure done and it only lasted a couple of days. Would not recommend this place. So so disappointed and the money you spend to get that done. UGH!

Jennifer Mitchell I really wish zero stars was an option. I went in 3 1/2 weeks ago for a full set. Told the lady that I wanted the powder color, she talked me into the shellac. Walked out super happy with how my nails looked. But I broke a nail 3 weeks ago. No biggie it happens so I went back Monday and paid for the repair and a color change. Less than 24 hours later the shellac was peeling. Go back Tuesday and have it redone. Lady also changed the shape of my nails which I didnt want. Not even 6 hours later the shellac is peeling again. Call and let them know Ill be back in on Thursday and I want the powder color. Get told ok come in and they will fix it. So I came back in today and first they only wanted to fix the color on the 4 nails that peeled. Why would I want to repeat this mess again?! I say no I want my nails completely redone I dont like the shape, rough edges or the shellac polish. The guy told me if I wanted anything other than a repeat of the shellac Id have to pay for it. Yeah NOPE! Ive already spent $70+ dollars, 3 trips into town and gotten my nails more and more messed up. Not getting a dime from me for their screw up. Dont waste your money or time at this place.

Candace Martinez I came in with my little daughter knowing exactly what I wanted. It was an argument all the way through with them wanting one thing and me another. I was frustrated and tired of repeating while they did what they wanted and dealing with sighs. My toes and fingers are different. I didn’t need the stress I have a dying husband and my daughter her daddy needed not the stress. I deal with thousands of people and been to a great many salons in multiple states. I really am far beyond greatly disappointed and after all that the higher cost cause they kept messing up and not communicating well when I told them what I wanted and the color that they must have run out or something. Why have examples of nails and colors if you’re not gonna follow. I will tell others just drive to new Brunfels it’s worth the time and gas. One set of flowers is in the middle the others on the side I’m just frustrated wanted out of their.

Erica Kraft Got acrylic nails and they look super nice and have held up well, staff was accommodating and the shop was clean. My only issue was that I paid $55 for a manicure and they didnt do any cuticle or nail prep, or do lotion or anything like other places Ive gone have done in a similar price range.

haylie schulmeier I wanted to try this salon seeing as I was new to the area and wanted a dip manicure. The guy who did my nails was eating food & smacking it the whole time he was doing them. The food he was eating and his breath also stunk. Once we got to a section of the nails where we needed to wait for it to dry, the guy started to clip his nails and two of his trajectory nails LANDED ON ME. He then proceed to cut almost every one of my fingers with the dremel. Once he was done he didnt even clean up my nails. There was leftover dip on all of my fingers and I got red dip so I left looking like I devoured a bag of hot cheetos. Terrible service and will never return. Wish I could rate 0 stars!!!

Sabrina Lopez I’ve gotten my nails done here a few times and they came out okay but didn’t last very long. The last few times, I’ve showed up at opening and waited 15-30 minutes past their listed opening time online/ on the door because nobody was there and the door was still locked. I ended up going to the nail salon a few doors down and I had a good experience.

Nicole Marsh Love the aesthetics of the shop. I would say they may be on the short staff side. I came in for a full set and pedi when the shop opened and after the pedi they made me wait 20 mins for the lady to do my nails as she was giving someone else a pedi. This was the second time I have come and have to wait for 20 mins. Staff super nice other than that.

alanna morales i went a few days ago to get my nails done, i paid 35 dollars and it wasnt the full service! my nails were long, she didnt file or cut them, she didnt push my cuticles back so i have a large space between my cuticle and where the acrylic begins! horrible service, and the employees need to learn how to treat customers with respect. the whole time she was applying the acrylic she kept tugging on my arm!! how is someone supposed to relax in such an enviornment.

becky gallegos just left here, the lady that did my nails was extremely rough and rude. she told me not to move my feet in the water because I would make a mess. she threw my feet around and even hit it on the side of the pedicure tub. horrible! and she i didnt even get to dry my toes. she finished and said "youre done, you can go now." never retuning.

Danielle I gave it a 0 because while the pedicure was okay, she didnt soak my right foot long enough and almost cut my toenail too short, but the manicure sucked! I had a lady named Tram, I read the name off of her license. Not only did she miss spots on my manicure that she had to go back and fix, she didnt wait long enough between coats so the polish ended up sloshing around. Ive done my own nails enough to know you have to wait in between coats. It was so not worth the $33. I will not be going back there ever. Id rather mess up a little and do them for free at home. The only thing I really liked was the massage pad they had on the chairs when you get a pedicure. Oh, and she needs to figure out how to trim and shape finger nails properly.

Trisha Storey I have been here twice, the first experience was not a pleasant one, but I thought I would give them the opportunity to redeem themselves. I was greeted and told it would be 5-10 minutes before someone could do my pedicure. I literally soaked my feet for nearly 45 minutes and then was told it would be an additional 30 minutes. I left and will not return.
