Adriana Koog My daughter and I went to the Counselors building today to get information about new students process. One of the ladies there was able to answer my and my daughters questions. When she left , another lady took over managing the desk but she was so rude !.she said she could only talk to my daughter who was next to me. She said, sorry you cant talk me...She said I needed to bring a legal document allowing her to talk to me.. so how come the other lady didnt have any problems talking to me. Also we went there about a month ago and talked to the success person and she was able to talk to me and my husband without bringing her a legal authorization.

Terrence Howe I actually lost out on life changing full ride scholarship to my dream university because my counselor was too lazy to submit paper work in time. She actually didn’t even want to even start the paperwork, despite it being in her job description to do so. It’s not a bluff, these people truly do not care.

Kayleigh Worst enrollment experience I’ve ever had with a college. I currently go to a university and the process to enroll was not this hard. Not one single person gave me accurate information and I kept getting redirected and given misinformation over a span of 5 months. Marcia Spear, the department of Chem/Bio lacked appropriate communication and guidance on my specific situation other than “one of my courses does not meet their requirements.” The veterans office also lacked proper communication and never got back to me after several attempts to get in contact for my enrollment. Overall, I’m not sure how these people have the roles that they do with the little knowledge that they have. Kind of upsetting they’re able to put first time college-goers through this type of process. Because I’ve gone to community college and university, I’m aware that this is absolutely ridiculous and no one should have to tolerate dealing with this many obstacles just to enroll in a college education.

Liliana Stern Beautiful updated campus with magnificent views of downtown and trinity river and trails from the classrooms. Parking is connected to campus with security on post at all times as you enter. It’s a good size which makes classes easy to find. Has several private rooms and socializing spaces for students to collaborate or work independently. Cafeteria with tons of food choices and plenty of seating. My experience with teachers so far is that they are helpful and want to see you succeed. Great campus with an elevated and modern college feel.

New American Bistro whoever hired yesdi in the math learning center made the right decision. that is a person who cares about students success. he has a deep understanding of mathematics and is able to impart that knowledge onto others. he has personally helped me through calc 1, 2, and 3. i wish he was a professor because that guy genuinely has a knack for explaining concepts in math in the most efficient way possible. he doesnt just tell you how to compute, but rather uses examples and proofs (in a way thats easy to understand) to really drive the point home. we are #teamyesdi in this house. i cant give enough thanks to the man who has ensured my success here at tcc.

Coyo Clean, safe, lots of technical and vocational training and certification courses. They have CDL, welding, IT, network security and lots of other high paying careers made accessible to all. I love TCC. Go Trailblazers!

Pope F Castillo Its a great place. I go there to play Pokemon Go and there are 6 gyms and around 18 gyms in close proximity. The security is very nice and respectful. Also the campus is beautiful.

JJ LL They are still requiring people to get a covid vaccine, which is now against the law and they can be sued: Texas Senate Bill 7, effective February 6, 2024, bans employers from mandating COVID-19 vaccines for employees, contractors, or applicants. It also prohibits adverse actions against those who refuse the vaccine. A separate law, effective September 1, 2023, bans state and local government entities from requiring COVID-19 vaccines, covering students in public schools and universities. Healthcare facilities can require unvaccinated workers to use protective equipment, but no exemptions exist for other settings. Violators face fines up to $50,000.

Iron Spidervenom If I could put zero stars I would, but man this school its pretty but then when going through the classes they just get hard using time and money, did have a teacher say "if you dont ask for help, I already got your money." not gonna say who because already forgotten their name, not only that but students and teacher act like this is high school, if I had to recommend people this school, thats if you want to waste money,time, and energy just to go to a place full of random incidents making people feel like consumers for a grocery store, to come out with stuff that they dont need, all the small classes leading to big classes is just a big scam! If I could get my 3 years back I would and go to trade school and not this and get a job faster!!!

Zach Fry Great if you actually want to do well in school and get involved. Those who expect to get nothing out of it will find themselves miserable here. Try hiking, biking, or skateboarding the six mile trail there around the entire lake. I always find time to do that.

Jackie I am truly disappointed in this campus. The two women working the advising desk are two of the rudest women. These are the women that are you first point of contact coming in the door and they are beyond rude. They are not helpful and do not know how to communicate in a professional manner. They are hateful. If I wasnt already a student here and they were my first point of contact in the enrollment process I would turn around and go to another school. TCC Northwest yall need to do better. I can only imagine the amount of students yall have lost souly because of the attitude and disregard coming from these two women alone. I watched one of them sit there and make fun of and talk badly about a student they had an interaction with in front of the student. Come on now, how is this ok?!?!! How is TCC going to allow that kind of bullying from their own staff. This is sad.

Lina Cole As an international Hispanic student I had a wonderful experience to the point that I stayed for my masters! People are super kind and the music school faculty is amazing! The classes are challenging and at the same time relevant in order to prepare us for future ministry!

Maria Elena Excellent Christian College located in Fort Worth, TX. My youngest daughter studied there and got her master degree. Now, she went back for her doctors degree. At the beginning of this month, my daughter had a symposium there, so she invited me. It was an awesome experience. The campus is amazing. I walked around and I felt a peaceful atmosphere. I spent some time at the library, and the workers were very nice and polite.

Michael Redbendad I recently had a cognitive test here. I interacted with two testers and four people contributed to the results analysis and explanation. I was impressed by their emotional and intellectual intelligence. I actually enjoyed the experience.

K Cancelled my doctors appointment I had waited 2 months for. Reason given was “doctor not in today.” Was told another appointment would be in 1 month. Such bad service. Also I’d like to add going to the osteopathic manipulation clinic is a bad experience. Always running 1 hour + behind but still expect patients to arrive on time! Bring a laptop or book.

Maya Papaya My gripe is mostly with the financial aid office. The hours arent consistent with what’s shown on the website, and most of the people there or when you call them don’t even bother to listen to you. You’ll call them about a specific problem and they’ll interrupt you and rush you off the phone, not even taking care of the problem you originally called for. If they don’t feel like helping you, they’ll redirect you somewhere else and make you go in circles calling different people, only to ultimately end up back at the financial aid office. Most of the people there also sound smug and annoyed…so idk y’all need to hire new people or have them go through customer service training again bc it’s a mess over there.

Khayrujjaman Shaikh Really Great college, nothing like it was in the 90s. I finished my degree in 2015. The instrumentation and knowledge the departments have is wonderful, they pull instructors from trade and businesses rather than degree farms. South field positively appearance the most effective, particularly if you are one to fancy learning or consumption outside on sunny days. North and town have cooking majors therefore the food is sweet. One gripe is that they do not do the "common hour" like different schools do, wherever there are not any categories however most are already there. If they additional that, thered be a great deal a lot of concerned in student activities.

S Red Never felt like I mattered as a student a TCC. Now, Im graduating this semester and the ceremony is split into two ceremonies and on a Tuesday in the middle of rush hour traffic. Its clear to me that they dont respect the importance of commencement and would prefer more students choose to not attend or be unable to participate. My education here has been mediocre and I feel a lot of the staff and faculty are just phoning it in. I had several professors who were unprepared on multiple occasions and who were poor communicators.

Lisa Hansen I was walking in the area looking for good spots for my daughter to have her senior pictures taken. It is very nice. I dont have any knowledge of the campus itself.

Tawauna Renea It was my first time visiting the campus and the college is really nice and clean. However, I wish the staff would know the difference between down town Dallas and Fort Worth because I was informed several times that my program was at the Dallas location and I live in Rockwall TX so its an hour commute without traffic. At the main campus I went to the advising desk to turn in my application she pointed me to another location and that person pointed me to a different location that was at the east location away from the main campus. I was very frustrated because even on the program application it has the main campus address. This is the only college that offers this program so Im kind of stuck going here but even the website is unorganized and all over the place. If I didnt need this as badly as I do I wouldnt attend this college. But Im program director is nice and the staff for this program is helpful and friendly. I also heard good things about this program so Im excited to start my courses.

Owen Geberth I’m probably pretty biased, but I have absolutely loved my time here in the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program. There is a reason it is ranked the 7th best anesthesia program in the nation. The faculty have been nothing but supportive. They have challenged us academically in ways I haven’t been challenged before. However, along the way, they encourage us and assure us that they believe in us. That goes a long way. It is also a tremendous attribute to have professors who have practiced at the very highest level of their licensure. I went to OU for my undergraduate degree, but I am proud to also call myself a horned frog.

Lola B The nursing program at TCU is good; it is the second-best nursing school in Texas. However, if you are not ready to spend and possibly waste a substantial amount of money, if you are not sure about becoming a nurse, and if you hate schools that focus on weeding people out, then this is not the place for you. I spent one semester at this school, and I hated being there from the beginning because one, I was not used to being in an environment that lacks diversity. Two, like I said the nursing program is good but only if you are passionate about becoming a nurse and if you seek help on time when needed, because if not they will not have a problem weeding you out, and that’s what happened to me. Once they kick you out that’s it, they basically drop you like a hot potato and when you leave they hardly care, because they got your money, they got what they wanted.
