Top Rated 8 University in Lufkin, TX - A Smart Choice for the Future part 2

Janie Crowson I will say there were 6 professors who made a difference for me. I will put them in order by semester Ms. W for English, Dr. Huckaby- math, Mr. Lankford- anatomy, Mr. Dudley, Ms. Jackson-psychology, and Dr. Paula - microbiology. These professors have a passion for their careers, and you can tell by how they teach. I highly recommend these professors. They will actually explain the work to you until you understand. Youre not just a warm body to them, and they actually make sure you understand the concept.

Allison Ferguson Professors have been great so far, but administrative choices have made it hard for me to be successful as an adult learner going back to school. Many courses are currently (Fall 2024) only being offered in 8 week sections but containing all the same required material as when it was 16 weeks. The pace is grueling. Not sure I’ll continue pursing my RN here.

Deborah Lashley Im so grateful for the GED program. My ex-husband was abusive, and it disrupted my Daughters life, especially her education, along with giving both of us PTSD. Ive been encouraging her to approach them about getting her GED, but she was scared to take that first step. I was amazed at how eager she was to continue catching up, and she is now hungry for knowledge. The instructor or instructors, seem to put her at ease. Id definitely recommend this place, and Ill help her along, should she decide to attend the college courses. ❤️

Mizz FeFe Overall pretty awesome college but know accommodations for people with disabilities. I have reached out and still no call back been over two months . Remember God sit high and low . Might just report U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights – Enforces “federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability and age in programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance from the Department of Education.”

Jeremy Willis The roast beef was dry and the mashed potatoes were runny. Also, they dont like when you bring your roast beef and mashed potatoes into their chapel. How unreasonable!

Christian Killingsworth As a student, I found that this college wholeheartedly upholds its motto and standard thereof: excellence. What truly sets it apart from the norm and causes it to ascend above the status quo is the dedication held by the teachers, faculty, and rest of the staff to its students and the vision they have in preparing them for their futures; I can honestly guarantee and say with bold confidence that this school rises above and beyond the expectations of those who attend here, and the experiences shared in the chapel services as well as simple classroom lessons, as Im sure I speak for many, many other who attend here and have attended, are quite literally life-changing. I strongly urge everyone who reads this to at least look into its "Preview Weekend" to have their own experience of the campus, because I strongly and deeply believe that words are not enough. This college is truly "excellent."
