London We’ve been with AMC since 2021, and it’s been a wonderful experience. Both of our children love it and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. It’s been a great educational stepping stone for our children. They’re also receptive to our questions. I highly recommend AMC.

Jingshu Yu Our kid started early preschool in PDS since July 2024 and so far almost a school year. She has been a hard time adjusting the new environment but Ms Zhen helped her a lot with full cares and love. We appreciated a lot! My kid now is loving to go to school everyday and enjoys her school life a lot!

Chuan Qin Overall, my wife and I are very satisfied with Plano Day School. Our 4-year-old has been in the school for more than a year and has stayed in 3 different classes. All the teachers who have taught and taken care of our son are well communicable, responsible, and patient. The school has great facilities and well-planned activities my son really enjoys. We can tell our son is happy with his school life here, and at the meantime he has also made great improvement in speech and communication skills. With the warm and friendly atmosphere at school, not only does my son make good friends in his class, but also we have made friends with other parents. Personally, we would suggest the school teach more of math, self-reading, and writing in Pre-K classes, as we find our son and other kids are willing to learn more. In all, we strongly recommend Plano Day School to any parent who is picking day cares & preschools in Plano/Frisco area, especially for those who prefer a bilingual environment (English/Chinese).

Kyle Lippe My parents chose Faith Lutheran Church and its school because of their close connection, and I attended Faith Lutheran from Pre-K through 8th grade. Looking back, I cannot speak highly enough about the education and staff. The strong academic foundation I received here played a crucial role in shaping my success and preparing me for the next steps in life. Faith Lutheran’s smaller class sizes, classical approach to education, and high standards create an exceptional learning environment. The dedication of the teachers and staff goes beyond academics—they truly invest in each student’s growth. Beyond the classroom, I built lasting friendships that, at 32 now, have stood the test of time. Faith Lutheran is more than just a school; it’s a community that fosters both academic and personal development.

Jacob Johnson My overall experience with Faith Lutheran School has been nothing but positive. I truly owe all of my success—personally, academically, and professionally—to the classical education I received there. My parents originally chose Faith because of its combined church and school structure. That integration creates more than just a good academic environment—it builds a community rooted in shared spiritual and educational values. Weve been part of that community since I was in preschool, and Im 33 now. That should tell you something. The academic rigor at Faith is excellent. Their classical model doesn’t just teach students what to think—it teaches how to think, how to reason, and how to articulate and defend ideas. Because of that foundation, my writing and reading comprehension skills have consistently been miles ahead of my peers throughout my life. The teachers and administrators run a tight ship, with clear expectations and a learning-focused atmosphere. The curriculum is challenging across the board, but in a way that supports all kinds of learners. One faculty member in particular, Pastor Hill, had a profound influence on my life. He taught religion and confirmation, and while I didn’t become a pastor like he hoped, the values he instilled in me show up in everything I do—including the business I started five years ago that has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. The roots of that success go back to what I learned at Faith. Dollar for dollar, this is the best education in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex—hands down. I would recommend Faith Lutheran School 100%. In fact, I fully intend to send my own three kids there when the time comes.

Noah Johnson I went to this school from 2002-2014, from preschool through 8th grade. The knowledge and general skills learned through my time at Faith carried me throughout the rest of my schooling and continue to yield results in my life today. In terms of a foundation of knowledge, as well as a foundation for faith itself, I believe anyone would be hard pressed to find a better alternative! Classes are smaller, and friendships made are lasting. Almost my entire 8th grade class meets up once a year to see each other even though a decade has passed. I highly recommend checking out this school and going to an open house to see what it has to offer.

Zai SYL I am a mother first. This school is not the best in Plano. I am sorry, I thought Hightower Elementary was so boujie, until I got the wrath of Jackson. This particular school, feels as if they can deal with the parents anyhow and constantly harasses parents for what they want done. They make being a single parent, so difficult at times. Quick to judge, and jump to conclusions. I see most parents do not enroll their kids to Jackson for these reasons I suppose. I cant wait for this school year to end, so my kids can transfer elsewhere. I will never recommend this school to any parent in Plano or DFW. Its impossible to find Aftercare for my kids, because they do not, I REPEAT DO NOT PICK UP KIDS FROM JACKSON ELEMENTARY. The respect is at an all time low with this school. Its always this or that. Always something with this school. A few faculty members in that school deserve all the flowers in the world because my kids love those particular teachers or faculty members. Other than that DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Don Burks I had a son attend here for 2 years around 2008-2010. Staff was amazing every step of the way from evaluation through the end of his time there. He was blessed to have the same teacher both years at Pearson. Class was extremely organized. Every public education experience has ups and downs, but I would say my sons first 3 years in Plano ISD - Both years at Pearson and his Kindergarten year at Andrews were state of the art. They gave him an amazing start. The staff at Pearson is great from the Principal to every single member of the staff. The facility is state of the art also.

anosheh asif We have absolutely loved our pre-k journey at Pearson. My child has flourished and is so happy going to school everyday. Miss Mathews and Miss Dunn have been like family and I am forever indebted to such co-operative, skilled and hardworking teachers. Kuddos to team Pearson!

Kaylie Destiny if i could give 0 stars i would. I am absolutely appalled and disappointed by this school’s office staff. My niece was missing the other day and no body could inform me where she was. Her mother was waiting for her to come off the bus never saw her. When the staff was asked about where her child was absolutely NO ONE wanted to be held accountable for where my niece was. Thank God that we had an air tag to track her where we found her at a whole different school. unbelievable.

She is now 4 years old and still at Isaacs. I’m so proud of her and so grateful to all the teachers that work so hard to help the kids learning.

Bahar Baydere I live near Harrington Elementary and even though I am not a parent at this school I can see that the kids attending are happy..often when the weather permits I hear their vibrant laughs in the school yard. The dismissal of school is very organized and allows the local neighbors to ease in and out and about without any restrictions or delays.

Jason Salmon My children have been enrolled in North Texas Academy for the past 2 years. This is an excellent homeschooling program! The curriculum is laid out well and thorough instructions are given. Mrs. Thiemer has made these past two years enjoyable for our homeschool kiddos, helping our children understand the importance of accomplishing knowledge to completion over passing the grade. Her technique has helped our children not only learn better, but their comprehension to pass “the grade/ test” is no longer an obstacle. All of our children are “A” students and with this program they are retaining the knowledge. If your interested in homeschooling I highly recommend North Texas Academy!!!

Mandy Jürgens Since the other review didnt elaborate and all her reviews are 1 star without much reason given, Id just like to say that my ASD child has had a great experience at this school. He went from only attending for half a day and having at least once bad day per week at his last school to attending (almost) all day and barely ever having bad days in half a year here. Communication is excellent. He looks forward to school now. I acknowledge that experiences may vary, but it doesnt do to scare people off without giving a good reason.

King Jones If you are offered a tour, be aware that it may not reflect the real day-to-day environment. Staff members have personally told me that tours are staged, and when I showed up unannounced, I saw a completely different reality and it was concerning. The way my child and others were treated was not pleasant. While the staff members themselves are kind and hardworking, management does not provide them with the necessary support to succeed. There is high employee turnover, which raises concerns about consistency and quality of care. Based on my experience and reviews on platforms like Indeed, it appears that upper management does not prioritize the well-being of their staff, which ultimately affects the children in their care. If you choose to tour, I highly recommend scheduling a date but then arriving two to three days early to get a more accurate picture of what really happens. I would strongly advise parents to research thoroughly and consider other options before choosing this place.
