5 /5 Jacob Johnson: My overall experience with Faith Lutheran School has been nothing but positive. I truly owe all of my success—personally, academically, and professionally—to the classical education I received there.
My parents originally chose Faith because of its combined church and school structure. That integration creates more than just a good academic environment—it builds a community rooted in shared spiritual and educational values. Weve been part of that community since I was in preschool, and Im 33 now. That should tell you something.
The academic rigor at Faith is excellent. Their classical model doesn’t just teach students what to think—it teaches how to think, how to reason, and how to articulate and defend ideas. Because of that foundation, my writing and reading comprehension skills have consistently been miles ahead of my peers throughout my life.
The teachers and administrators run a tight ship, with clear expectations and a learning-focused atmosphere. The curriculum is challenging across the board, but in a way that supports all kinds of learners. One faculty member in particular, Pastor Hill, had a profound influence on my life. He taught religion and confirmation, and while I didn’t become a pastor like he hoped, the values he instilled in me show up in everything I do—including the business I started five years ago that has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. The roots of that success go back to what I learned at Faith.
Dollar for dollar, this is the best education in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex—hands down. I would recommend Faith Lutheran School 100%. In fact, I fully intend to send my own three kids there when the time comes.
