Michele DeVoe We rode here by bicycle and felt very welcome at the 5 PM English mass which is a youth service. It was wonderful to see the participation! The music ministry was excellent with contemporary selections well suited for the days readings. The priest provided an engaging homily complete with PowerPoint slides that added to the interest. We even asked for a copy to be emailed to us. We are so glad we were able to attend mass here!

Scarecrow I am writing this review as a previous member of The Crossroads. After being away for some time, my brother and I decided to attend service on May 11, 2025. We had been in the building for less than ten minutes when a man approached us, escorted us out of the room, and searched me for weapons because I was wearing a coat. This occurred in a public area where children and families were walking by, making the experience even more humiliating. I was wearing a button-down shirt with the word Jesus and a Bible verse printed on it, along with a cross necklace, so the assumption that I might be carrying a weapon was particularly baffling and offensive. I was deeply disappointed that I was not even recognized. We left the church immediately due to how unwelcome and criminalized I felt, especially considering it was my brothers very first time visiting. Being treated like criminals in this manner is unacceptable, and as a result, I will not be recommending The Crossroads to anyone. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this church again.

Griselda Edgell Beautiful church, we always visit this place when we go to Laredo its where my grandmother used to take me as a young girl. Took my family to visit and have a look around.

Homero Cavazos Our mother, unfortunately passed away on January 9th and no priest has been able to offer a mass for her. We live close to this church and we attend mass every Sunday. We wanted for my mom to have her mass at this church but they denied it, first, because we have not registered there, and second because we have not been able to buy a “ “nicho” at the Cementery so her ashes rest in peace, but it is because there is no place available yet. It saddens us to know that religion has also become a “ BUSINESS “ and priests try to take advantage of the situation just because we do not belong to a church, but do they ask who belongs to the church on Sundays when you have to give the “ diezmo “? Then they should not accept the money if the people does not belong to that church. Same place who tried to charge me more money when I wanted to get married because I did not belong there.

Kirsten Kendall My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town, we had been looking for a church to go to for our Sunday in town and stumbled across Grace Bible Church. Without a doubt, one of the best churches I have ever been to!! I felt like part of the community even though everyone was strangers. The Pastor of Grace Bible church you can tell preaches with his all. He puts his heart into it, and uses the Bible as his guide! Plus the live band was incredible, pure talent. I wish we were locals, I’d be happy to call Grace Bible church my home. It was a pleasure passing by.

The church has a strong desire to reach out to the surrounding community to meet not only their physical but also spiritual needs. Leah Socorro Cayanan I love being parishioner of SJN. Fr Salvador Pedroza, the pastor, has a soft heart for us Filipinos. He opened his parish to us and welcomed us with much love. His generosity is a truly blessing. The parish has dedicated and passionate servants and volunteers. Two of them, CJ and Lydia Guevarra, are heartwarming couple who serve with a constancy that is unmatched. I went to Sunday Mass today. The choir is one of the best I’ve heard. Their recessional song Age to Age made me stay until the very end. A newly ordained priest, Fr Jerry, celebrated the Mass. He has a powerful voice and his wit is engaging. His insightful homily evoked in me the desire to be inclusive and non-discriminatory in thoughts, in words and in deed. Thank you, Fr. Jerry, for the Eucharistic Celebration today.

There were a lot of families and they have programs for the whole family. This would be a great place for your family to attend and become a member of a Bible believing and preaching church.
