Target - Baytown (TX)

5 /5 Esmeralda Lara: stopped by the Target last weekend, and I have to say this location really impressed me. The store was spotless, the aisles were wide and easy to navigate, and I noticed how quickly the staff restocked popular items. What stood out the most, though, was the customer service—I asked an associate named Maria about finding a specific vitamin brand, and not only did she walk me directly to the shelf, but she also suggested an alternative when the size I wanted was out. The checkout line moved faster than expected, and I appreciated the self-checkout lanes for smaller purchases. Parking was easy, and I felt safe even in the evening because the lot was well-lit. This Target has become my go-to because it’s consistent, organized, and the employees really make the shopping experience better. Definitely worth the drive even if you live a little farther away.

1 /5 Valerie L. Ramirez: This is probably one of the worst locations I’ve been to. Went to the bathroom and 3/5 stalls had no toilet paper. Toilet paper tubes and toilet paper were all over the floor. There was no soap in any of the soap dispensers (there never is) and the soap that was left out had either no soap or the soap had been watered down, it was gross. I also had a terrible encounter with the young lady at the customer service check out. She had long curly hair with dark glasses and coincidentally no name tag. I had been waiting for about 20 min no one had even acknowledged me or the line of customers behind me. When the young lady finally attempted to help she was frustrated and her tone was extremely condescending the entire time. I was trying to complete a cat and jack return. I had called previously to make sure it was ok and was told it should be no problem. The young lady didn’t feel like scanning the items to check and see if they could be returned so she maxed out my return limit. Mind you anything I was informed of by her was in a condescending tone and she even rolled her eyes. I did try and get the young lady’s name but the staff were unsure since she was new. I believe I was told her name may be Brianna? But I’m not entirely sure.

5 /5 Shelley Tyler: I was looking for a certain item and an employee that was pulling an order for an online customer stopped in the middle of what she was doing and looked up my item. We didnt find it but it was not for lack of her help. Extremely kind and patient. I wish I had asked her name to give her credit.

1 /5 stdemc: Does anyone ever answer the phone?! I’ve tried calling every department because the phone just rings forever on each line. People always say that it’s better to call a place a business before making the drive for what you’re looking for, but what happens if no one ever answers said call? Infuriating!
