5 /5 Jeffery Yancey: Well Im a longhaul gear jammer came up thru here after finally getting loaded in Pharr TX. The product was late left there at 7:30 pm was supposed to be loaded an gone before lunch. Wow a whole 340 miles in 14 hrs. Thats trucking folks. So I stop here with literally 1 minute left on elog , well tomorrow s another day.
Walking up to the store I held the door open for a young lady (deep southern REARD) and a real clean cut young man was headed to the door he looked up , I said take your time Im done for the day. He went in and said TU sir (Im 55 6ft 4 burly road warrior) hes a little Spanish fellow 5ft 6 maybe. We go in Im grabbing a few things had stuff already on counter as hes right there . I said go ahead son I got more stuff than u, he looked at me. I said go on, my house is outside. He thanked me again sincerity in his eyes. I said its easier to just be nice maybe itll be contagious. Hes paying for his little bit of stuff gave the girl 40$ and said get his stuff. I was humbled ; tried to refuse he wouldnt have it. I thanked him shook his hand and assured him I would pass the good deed on. He smiled and walked out. 12 $ in change I told cashier your tip.
Im rambling!
That was a wonderful thing that happened. (NOT THE MONEY)
IT WAS THE ACT OF KINDNESS.
Now Im a Alabama redneck truck driver.
He was a young man totally my opposite (city boy).
But 2 grown men total strangers from total different worlds can both honestly show kindness and feel the love for his fellow human being!!
Then I say he and I are brothers ordained by our MAKER AS WAS INTENDED.
It was a moment Ill carry to the grave Im humbled and thankful I had this wonderful day. I got a little brown brother of whos given name idk.
But his name to me is BROTHER.
CANT WE ALL LOOK OUT FOR OUR FELLOW MAN AND HAVE HARMANY.
AFTER ALL WE ARE OUR BROTHE"S KEEPER.
THank you GOD for this wonder moment of today. I know YOU smiled as free will happened as You designed it too.
