Stone Village Market - Fort Davis (TX)

5 /5 Diana L: This place has the basic groceries for cooking at home but I decided to custom order a roast beef sandwich with potato salad for dinner instead, and they were both delicious! The sandwich had fresh ingredients and was nicely assembled. A really nice way to end the day after hiking at the nearby Davis Mountains State Park. The employee was very friendly along with a couple locals dining in. Ill definitely stop by again the next time Im in town.

5 /5 Chris Jurica: We stopped in on two separate occasions. Both times we felt welcomed and were treated as locals. We never got to try the sandwiches, but we did get some breakfast tacos and cinnamon rolls. They were delicious and the salsa great. Dominoes are played by the locals every morning at 7am. Need I say more about how great this place is?

4 /5 Belynda Warner: Small local grocery / deli with a limited selection that covers the basics. Deli case was nearly empty and the deli was closed when we were there, but to be fair, that was late afternoon. We did manage to grab some fresh cookies (delicious) and fresh pimento cheese (excellent). Had we arrived earlier, I think the sandwiches would have been great. Staff was friendly and chatted with us about our day visiting the nearby Ft Davis National Historic Site. We also visited Lowe’s grocery store down the street, and the prices were comparable. Bottom line, recommended but go earlier.

5 /5 Caroline VOS: Stopped by this grocery store before leaving Fort Davis and grabbed a sandwich, salad, and coffee. I got the cranberry, almond, and chicken salad, and my companion had the chicken Swiss sandwich. I loved the salad and finished it in no time! And their coffee… wow, it’s really good. If you need fresh food or supplies, definitely check this place out!
